Over the last 8 years I have made thousands of coffees for the greater downtown community, and spent hundreds of hours getting to know each and every person who came through the door. Frankly I think I know a little too much about most of you; and that’s a beautiful thing. Getting to hang out with my best friends for 10 hours a day is a blessing not many have and I have endless gratitude for those moments. I could ramble forever but y’all know how I feel about the community and the importance of showing up for each other. Halloween is my last day behind the bar at @youngbloodcoffee come say hey, listen to Boston or Sade, and say see ya soon. by @must.be.aaron

Thursday March 14th will be my final local show with Phobopbilic. Following our spring tour with Witch Vomit, my last live appearance with the band will be Austin Death fest on April 28th. After nearly 7 years I will be relinquishing my duties on guitar and vocals and stepping down from touring indefinitely. This decision to step away was not something I expected, as the last couple of years were successful and full of many landmark accomplishments. Those successes ranged from being signed to Prosthetic Records, touring the states (AND Canada) multiple times, doing a European tour and playing a number of notable bucket list venues and festivals - including the return of Milwaukee Metal Fest, Decibel Metal and Beer fest (alongside Gorguts) Killtown Deathfest and a show with the legendary and influential Cynic and Athiest. All these memories I will hold forever.

Beyond that there are so many people I’d love to thank for their hospitality, their belief in our art (Jason of Rotted Life Records, Steve, Becky, and Ej at Prosthetic most notably), the graphic artists and photographers who captured our image, and others whose readiness to help when things seemed impossible. To soundman John who helped us learn the ropes on our first large tours, and accompanied us overseas, to ANY band that asked us to join their tour package, and the endless venue staff bartenders and hands across the country for their hospitality. Most importantly to my brothers Josh, Christian, and Vinnie for being musicians and friends I look up to. People who pushed me, and motivated me to be an unlock levels of playing I didn’t know I had, and to excel in performing what we created. They have been musicians I have loved to watch grow and it’s been an absolute honor sharing the stage with them HUNDREDS of times all across the globe. Phobophilic has been the largest part of my life and stepping away isn’t easy but with a stacked schedule at both home and on the road I simply cannot tour nearly as much - as things show no sign of slowing down. They will always have my unwavering and endless support as they will continue to crush everything in their path. (Cont. in comments) by @must.be.aaron

It’s been one full year of ‘Enveloping Absurdity’. This record has quite literally has taken my three brothers and I across the globe. We have shared the stage with countless influences and friends and I couldn’t feel more grateful for the connections we have made in the last 365 days. There are endless thanks to go around. I promise this is just the beginning, we have a plethora of shows planned in the coming months and have no plans to stop. Here is to another year of ABSURDITY. 🌀
