How much of the artist's work never makes it into the gallery? /channel/, a video piece from my MFA thesis, is on view @interaccessto as part of flashDRIVE - a survey of digital art in toronto (curated by @mirbun !!) and a fundraiser for one of my all time fave arts orgs!!!! as part of the fundraiser side of things, this work is for sale - 13 digital editions on a limited edition interaccess usb drive. there’s also a little extra never-before-seen file that you only get if you buy it :) by @mustmovequickly

big year!!!! 3 residencies, my first big curatorial project, lots of emotional growth and hard work. i was so lucky to work with so many fantastic artists, curators, programmers and scholars this year and i’m so excited to continue making and doing weird shit in 2025 ⚡️ by @mustmovequickly

little process and movement of this new piece i’ve been working on for the past couple weeks. i hand appliquéd chiffon on chiffon with silk thread, and then stretched it over a mirrored panel. thinking about layering, transparency, legibility. by @mustmovequickly

reminiscing about this time last year, when i was deep in research and preparation for my thesis exhibition. thinking about the covered mirror as a symbol of death, of haunting - but also as a way of looking, not looking, controlling what is visible. the movement of the fabric is the house breathing (a drafty old thing), and in doing so, changing ever so slightly what its inhabitants see. by @mustmovequickly
