Meet our volunteer dog groomer, Cindy, who has spent countless hours giving makeovers to thousands of dogs in need. Thanks to Cindy, the seniors who come to Muttville start their new beginnings so fresh and so clean. by @muttvillesf

Remember Juggles, the senior Corgi mix, who was so overweight he looked like a capybara? Thanks to his new parents, a healthy diet, and regular exercise, he’s lost nearly 50% of his body weight and is loving his new, active life! taken in Muttville Senior Dog Rescue by @muttvillesf

Last week Project Skye spent the day at @muttville, the country’s first cage-free shelter and California’s first senior dog rescue. Every dog roams a bright, homey space with an on-site vet suite, groomer, and hospice care for the ones who need it. Many of these seniors lost their person or were surrendered when they got older. Muttville has rescued over 14,000 of them. At Project Skye we advocate for seniors, partnering with rescues, spotlighting their seniors, and finding them homes. Muttville is what that looks like at its best 💙 tag a friend who needs a senior best friend! #muttville taken in Tribeca, New York City by @muttvillesf

30 senior mutts found forever homes last week! That includes lucky little long-termer, Skechers (first photo), whose mom sent us this note after his adoption: "I would’ve never found this missing piece of my life without you guys!" 😭 taken in Muttville Senior Dog Rescue by @muttvillesf
