It’s been an incredible honor for us, not only being a part of The Skin Deep community but also actively involved. Thank you for this opportunity to share our thoughts and voices. It was a surreal and emotional moment for us to see ourselves on screen in such an intimate and impactful way. We appreciate the vision! The global impact of The And is nothing short of amazing. Words fail to properly encapsulate the honor of being part of this beautiful community. Thank you for creating connection through community and allowing us to be part of it.

We appreciate The Skin Deep⁠ for doing what they’ve always done, sharing the realities that humans are living, free from judgement, purely objectively. My Daughters, My Sweet Girls, I want you to know how much of what I do is for you.

All the videos beyond those within this intentional series carry pieces of me and words I hope aid you throughout your lives.

But this week I’m learning to embrace the flow of life.

I’m creating in a different way.

Appearing in a different way.

Functioning in a different way.

Allowing myself to be all parts and share that with you all, so you have a full picture of who I am, not just the parts I like the most.

Trying to embrace life as it is and show up in ways that allow me to be more relaxed. So that I can alleviate as much stress as possible.

Talking to the three of you feels so natural to me and I love that. These videos for you aren’t work. They’re an intentional expression of love and planning for the future.

My Daughters, My Sweet Girls,

I hope you always remember that you are allowed to enjoy your lives while you are building them.

You don’t have to measure yourselves against someone else’s timeline.

You don’t have to keep up with what the world says you should be doing.

You don’t have to become a certain version of yourselves to be worthy of happiness.

You are allowed to choose joy.

You are allowed to laugh, be silly, make memories, change your minds, take your time, and enjoy the life in front of you.

And as you grow older, I hope you continue choosing each other.

There will be seasons when your lives look different. Seasons when you are pulled in different directions. Seasons when you may not see each other as often as you would like.

But I hope you always find your way back to one another.

Support each other.

Never judge each other.

Lean on one another.

Be a safe place for each other.

Your sisterhood should never feel like competition or comparison. It should be a place where you can be completely yourselves. A place filled with love, laughter, honesty, and the comfort of knowing you are never alone.

Build the lives you want, my girls.

Work hard for your dreams.

But don’t become so focused on who you are becoming that you forget to enjoy who you are right now.

There is room for both.

There is room for ambition and rest.

There is room for responsibility and fun.

There is room for building your future and prioritizing your happiness today.

I hope you always choose what brings you peace.

What brings you joy.

What allows you to feel most like yourselves.

And I hope you never allow outside expectations to make you feel guilty for wanting a happy life.

Keep choosing each other.

Keep making memories.

Branching Out means giving myself permission to try something different, and apparently that includes pumpkin spice Cheerios 🤣🎃🥣

I had way more fun making this video than I expected to 😅

If you’ve been following my content for a while, you probably know I tend to be pretty reflective and intentional in the things I share. But there’s another side of my personality that doesn’t always make it on camera.

My Wife @____takara____ has been encouraging me to loosen up and show more of that side of myself since we first started creating content together.

This video is one of the biggest steps I’ve taken toward doing that in a solo video.

So enjoy the shenanigans, the pumpkin spice Cheerios, and a little more of the personality you don’t usually get to see from me 🤣

Maybe Branching Out isn’t just about trying new things.

Maybe it’s also about giving yourself permission to be seen in ways you haven’t allowed yourself to be seen before.

It’s officially here! 🎶🌈

The new @msrachelforlittles & @aronaccurso album I pre-saved is officially out!

“I Love A Rainbow” is already a favorite for me and my daughter, Khiara 🥰 There’s something really special about having music that I genuinely enjoy listening to while also getting to share it with my daughters 🩷💕

Music is such a gift in our home 🥰 It can change the atmosphere, create memories, bring us together, and somehow turn an ordinary moment into something we’ll remember.

I love that my girls are growing up surrounded by music, but I especially love having songs we can enjoy together. Those shared favorites become part of our family story 🥰

This album is definitely about to get some serious play in our home 😂🎶🌈

There’s something special about making little changes around the house as the seasons change 🍂

A few warm touches, a different feel around the kitchen table, and suddenly the space feels a little more like fall.

Nothing major, just creating an atmosphere that makes our house feel even more like a home 🤎

Because it’s more than where we live. It’s where we make the memories we’ll remember for the rest of our lives.

It’s in these small touches, the seasonal traditions, and the everyday moments that I hope our girls look back on fondly and carry with them as they grow into adults.

I hope when our girls think of home years from now, they remember how it felt to grow up here, surrounded by love, laughter, and little moments that meant more than we knew at the time 🤎

In honor of the first day of fall, meet Eleanor the Pumpkin 🎃🍂

The jack-o-lantern my oldest daughter, Alaina, and I carved Sunday night, at her request.

This was my first pumpkin carving experience, and Alaina let me handle one eye and a tiny bit of the nose while she took care of the rest 🤣

We ended up staying up later than I would have preferred, but it was worth every minute.

My daughter is growing up fast. She’s becoming more independent by the day, which makes moments like this feel even more special. So when she wants to spend time together, I cherish it. I prioritize it. And I rarely regret choosing to be on her time, even when her time isn’t necessarily the most convenient time for me 🩷

I’m learning to give myself permission to enjoy my time instead of constantly feeling like I need to optimize it.

Sometimes that means getting a little less sleep because my daughter wants to carve a pumpkin with me.

Sometimes it means choosing the moment in front of me instead of waiting for a more convenient one.

And sometimes rest looks like simply allowing myself to enjoy where I am, who I’m with, and what we’re doing without needing it to accomplish anything beyond making a memory.

Eleanor may only be around for a season.

But this moment with my daughter is one I’ll always be glad I chose 🎃🧡🥰🧡🎃

My Daughters, My Sweet Girls,

One of the things I hope you learn as you grow is that your feelings deserve your attention, but they don’t have to take over your entire world.

I’m learning this myself.

There are moments when I need to sit with what I’m feeling instead of immediately trying to move past it. To understand it. To give it space.

But I’m also learning that staying connected to my feelings doesn’t mean I have to stay inside them.

And I hope you learn that distinction too.

I hope you learn how to care deeply without carrying everything around you.

How to recognize when someone you love needs comfort, when they need conversation, and when they simply need room.

How to be there for each other without feeling responsible for fixing everything.

You will grow up together, but you will still be three different people with three different hearts, minds, experiences, and ways of processing the world.

Protect that individuality.

Give each other grace.

Make room for each other.

And remember that sometimes loving someone means getting closer, while other times it means giving them enough space to find their center again.

I hope you always feel safe enough with each other to feel deeply, speak freely, and be yourselves.

And when one of you is having a difficult day, I hope the others can be a place of comfort without becoming lost in the emotion too.

Feel what you feel.

Understand what it may be telling you.

Then choose what comes next.

I’ve been thinking about how different people have access to different parts of us.

There are people we can spend time with and still feel completely unchanged.

And then there are the people whose presence can shift something in us without them even realizing they’re doing it.

For me, that’s My Wife and my girls.

Sometimes it’s a conversation. Sometimes it’s a laugh. Sometimes it’s something as simple as one of my girls coming into the room just to be near me.

Those moments can interrupt whatever was happening in my head and remind me that there’s more happening around me than what I was carrying inside.

I think that’s one of the beautiful things about being deeply connected to people.

Their presence doesn’t erase what we feel.

It can simply remind us that what we feel isn’t the only thing available to us.

And I’m grateful for the people who can reach me without needing to say much at all.
