i’ve worked in kitchens for almost 7 years on and off, never in my life has a crew meant so much to me and it pains me to leave such a wonderful environment. you form a really special bond with people when at least 5 days a week you’re cooking, cleaning, stressing, having a blast, and solving problems on the fly right there next to them, it’s not something words can describe, to me it’s beyond life, and what a lucky guy i am to experience something like these kitchens

eat at @unclejunesartmachine and @trexsavannah whenever you get the chance, the people there care more about giving people good food more than i can explain, and that shit feels good. by @muusumeci

what’s up everyone. i work at this new restaurant called t. rex, some are calling it the best BBQ in savannah, which it is. we serve lots of smoke meat but here we have a birria melt which has smoked chuck roast on it, along with birria of course and some munster cheese and other things i gotta keep secret. i made this one the other day and was just so pleased i had to pretend to kiss it and also tell it how good it looked, as i was doing this, it actually obtained the ability to speak english and told me “ wow thank you jake! i feel as good as i look and i cannot wait to be eaten!” it literally said this to me. these are only things that happen at t. rex and if you haven’t been yet, you haven’t lived yet by @muusumeci
