Only God knows how challenging life has been for all of the loved ones of our sweet Chamya. In the midst of the storm, my family, friends, and I are all working together to keep our angel’s name alive. In honor of my sister, Chamya Nicole Saulsberry, we have started an organization, The Chamya Nicole Promise Foundation, that will help us fulfill our purpose. This nonprofit organization will honor Chamya’s legacy by giving back to the community. Most importantly, it will raise awareness of gun violence in our community and ways to help prevent gun violence. We want to encourage everyone to come and support our Annual Walkathon, STEP UP FOR MYA, in remembrance of her.
Let’s all STEP UP to the senseless acts of gun violence. We are prepared to walk hand in hand with law officials, school officials, community leaders, families, and friends for the safekeeping of our community.

Order our steps oh God as we reflect on the memories of our dear loved one and shed light to her absence here on earth. Amen

IT’S MY SALONAVERSARYYYYY🥰🥰🥰🥰

One year later… & it’s still so much I haven’t yet shared w/ you all. 🥹✨

These moments… these clips… this was the day Haus of Charm was born.

And truthfully, I wasn’t ready to talk about it then.
I was still in it. Still processing. Still trying to hold everything together while stepping into something so big.

But today… I can finally sit with it.🥰🥰

I can finally look back & smile at everything that day represented, the prayers, the pressure, the faith it took to even open those doors.

Because what you don’t see in these clips is everything it took to get there.
The weight. The sacrifice. The moments I had to choose faith over fear… over and over again.

And somehow… God met me in every single one of those moments.

So to watch this now, a full year later… still standing, still growing, still covered… it hits different.

The real plot twist is, Haus of Charm was never just a salon. It’s a piece of me. It’s purpose. It’s proof of what happens when you don’t give up on what God showed you.

To every person who showed up that day…
To everyone who’s supported me since…
To every client who trusted me before I even had a space…

Thank you. Truly. 🤍

I may have taken a year to share this… but the gratitude has been there every single day.

We were honored to have @wbrcnews visit The Haus of Charm Salon during Black History Month, where our team shared the importance of healthy hair care for women of color and how seasonal weather changes can affect textured hair.
