“What does mothering boldly mean to you?”

Because mothering boldly isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about showing up, tired but faithful.
It’s about choosing love in the hard moments.
It’s about leading your children with courage, conviction and grace.

To mother boldly is to trust that God entrusted you with your children on purpose.
“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” — Proverbs 31:25

You are seen.
You are equipped.
You are anointed for this assignment.

This campaign is our love letter to Black mothers; the culture shapers, the prayer warriors, the soft place to land and the backbone of our communities.

May you be reminded that your boldness doesn’t have to be loud.
Sometimes it looks like patience.
Sometimes it looks like boundaries.
Sometimes it looks like faith when no one else sees the tears 🧡

Okay, so it wasn’t actually beef stew… 🙂‍↕️😌

Around late 2024, I randomly developed a dry, itchy patch on my hand. I’ve never really suffered with dry skin, but this little patch became increasingly irritated and slowly started spreading across my finger.

I tried the usual suspects — E45, Epaderm, Oilatum — which helped, but never seemed to completely settle it.

Then in early spring, I started using these two together: Eucerin 5% Urea Hand Cream + beef tallow balm. A little of each, at the same time, as often as I remembered throughout the day.

Fast forward and I’d say it’s now about 97% cleared and no longer itchy. The only time I notice irritation is after using some of my more active/acid-based shower products, so I try to keep those away from the area.

Naturally, I had to put you muvas on. 🤝🏾 If you’re dealing with something similar, these might be worth looking into.

Because sometimes confidence isn’t loud, it’s built in those small rituals that remind you, “yeah… I’ve got this.”

Whether it’s your favourite perfume, a final outfit spin, or hyping yourself up like your own best friend, it all counts.

Summer holidays: SURVIVED. 😂🙌🏾

The routines were gone. The snacks were endless. The children were entertained. The patience was tested. And somehow, we made it through. 😆

Now it’s time to take a deep breath, reset and remember that there’s still time.

Time to start the thing.
Make the move.
Book the trip.
Rest properly.
Pour back into yourself.
Go after the dream.

We’ve got one final stretch of the year, Muvas, so let’s go all in. 🧡

No pressure to have it all figured out. Just a little more courage, a little more intention and a lot more “why not me?”

We made it through summer. Now let’s finish the year BOLDLY. 🔥

Because let’s be honest…
sometimes motherhood feels like:
juice boxes, snack requests, “mummy mummy mummy”… and zero refills for you 😅

But even Jesus stepped away to rest… so yes, you can take 5 minutes too.
