Minus the process of purchasing tickets to get in AND the parking situation, we had such a good time at the North Georgia State Fair!

Of course I came for the FOOD 😂 and loved getting to walk around and try different things while the kids enjoyed the rides. There are sooo many food options to choose from, everything was well organized once we got inside, and overall it was just a really fun experience for the whole family. Definitely a cute fall outing with the kids! 🍗🍏🍟🎠

Girls’ night = good food, drinks, and catching up… or at least trying to. We stopped by @meimeiphilly , while the ambiance is trendy and makes for a cute night out, the music was so loud we could barely hear each other 😂. We ordered the cucumber salad, egg rolls, edamame, fried rice, and ribs. The cucumber salad was fresh and flavorful, the egg rolls were crispy, the fried rice and edamame were solid choices, The only downside was the service, we waited quite a while for our food and even longer whenever we needed assistance. Overall, I’d give Mei Mei a 2.5/5. I’d come back for the vibes at the bar and a few of the appetizers.

A fine dining experience that’s worth every bite. ✨ My twin brother treated us to a night out in the city @alpenrosephl , and from the moment we rang the bell and the host welcomed us through the door, the experience felt exclusive. The intimate, dimly lit dining room created the perfect ambiance, romantic, cozy, and effortlessly elegant. Every member of the staff made us feel like VIPs, from opening the door to providing attentive service throughout the evening. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. We started with fresh oysters, indulged in the unforgettable bone marrow toast, perfectly cooked octopus, and a beautifully prepared branzino.

The highlight of the night was watching our steak carved tableside before being plated and served a classic fine dining touch that elevated the entire experience. I rate it a 4/5. I see why so many diners rave about it.

One of my favorite things to do is eat lol and Smorgasburg Atlanta definitely delivered.

If you’re a foodie or just love trying different bites in one place, this spot is a whole vibe. The outdoor market brings together a mix of local vendors serving everything from creative street food to sweet treats. I loved being able to walk around, sample different flavors, and discover small businesses I probably wouldn’t have found otherwise.

The energy is great, the food options are diverse, and it’s the perfect weekend activity if you want good food and good vibes. Come hungry because there’s a lot to try.

Dining at Zauo in Osaka was such a fun, interactive experience. You take your shoes off when you enter, then literally fish for your own meal while the staff bangs a drum and celebrates every catch, which keeps the energy high. When I caught mine, me and the fish definitely had a little struggle (fair enough given its circumstances about to be fried onto my plate 😭), but that just made it even more memorable. The fish was incredibly fresh and honestly so delicious. Overall, a 9/10 and a must-try experience.

Ichiba Sushi at Toyosu Market was everything I hoped for as a sushi-lover girl finally experiencing omakase in Japan. Sitting at the intimate counter, watching the chefs prepare each piece, made the experience feel authentic and exciting. The sushi was hands-down the freshest I’ve ever had, every bite was so good I couldn’t stop eating and even picked from all my cousins’ plates. The warm sake added a cozy, comforting feeling that paired perfectly with the meal, making it hard to focus on the fact that we were in a rush to leave.

The atmosphere was simple, calm, and focused on the food, with close seating that lets you fully appreciate the craftsmanship behind each piece. Even though time was tight, I couldn’t leave a single bite behind. This was truly a sushi lover’s dream and such a memorable experience at the heart of Toyosu Market. Overall, I’d rate it 4/5 an unforgettable omakase moment I’d gladly relive again. 🍣✨

I’d heard great things about Kanda Ramen Waizu: the thick, pork-bone broth, chewy noodles, and the authentic late-night Tokyo ramen vibe. The shop itself is tiny, with only about 10–11 counter seats, which makes the experience feel intimate and very local. Getting seated required a bit of a wait, but the line moved fairly quickly considering how small the place is and how many people were waiting.

When my bowl finally arrived, the presentation was beautiful. The noodles looked firm and well-cooked, and the toppings were neatly arranged. The process of ordering and watching everything come together was unique and enjoyable, which I appreciated.

However, the ramen itself wasn’t quite to my liking. The broth was far too thick, and the pork felt like an afterthought rather than a carefully prepared component. Adding pepper didn’t really help the flavor, but I ate it anyway because I was starving. Honestly, a simple cup of ramen from 7‑Eleven tasted better to me. Maybe I ordered wrong, Overall, the experience was super cool, I rate it 2.5/5.

I recently flew to and from Japan with United Airlines and T’way Air.
Both airlines served meals that were decent for economy class, nothing extraordinary, but not disappointing either. The portions were fair, the food was warm, and the flavors were mild but enjoyable enough to get through a long flight. Both served Asian-inspired options such as the shrimp tempura, egg sandwich, and even sushi. I would say the bulgogi with kimchi dish was my favorite.

While the presentation didn’t stand out, I appreciated that everything was served on time and the meal quality was consistent both ways. It’s not a meal I’d crave again on the ground, but for airplane food, it did its job. overall, I’d rate the airplane food a solid 3 out of 5. Just to be clear, I’m comparing it to other in-flight meals, not fine dining or airport lounge food.

If you’re in Atlanta and craving oysters The Optimist is a must. The vibe is coastal yet chic.

To start, I had their deviled eggs, which were a fun, flavorful bite that set the tone for the meal. Then came the the complimentary fresh-baked rolls. Warm, buttery, fluffy on the inside, golden on the outside—they were so good I had to ask for them twice. Yes, twice. Sometimes it’s the simplest thing on the table that leaves the biggest impression, and these rolls absolutely did.

The star of the table: their fresh oysters. I love oyster, they honestly make me happy, and these were everything I hoped for—briny, fresh, and perfectly chilled. Each one tasted like a little celebration of the sea.

Overall between the oysters and those unbelievable rolls, The Optimist delivered on flavor and experience.

I checked out Panda Fest in ATL this past weekend to finally see what all the hype was about. The vibe was nice. I actually loved that there wasn’t loud music blasting, so you could enjoy your food and actually have a conversation without yelling lol. The lines weren’t too crazy either, which made the flow of the event a lot smoother than I expected.

That said, the prices were definitely on the high side. Everything was $15 and up, and that’s after paying just to get in. For what I spent, I couldn’t help but think about how a good buffet gives you way more and better value overall. The food itself was okay — not bad, but nothing that really stood out as memorable for the price point.

Overall, I’d say @pandafestatlanta was a cool experience to try once, but not something I’d make a regular thing. Atmosphere was the highlight for me, but the food-to-price ratio didn’t live up to the hype. My rating: 2.5/5.
