Some tracks get old. Some tracks become part of dance music history.

In 2001, @basement_jaxx released Where’s Your Head At — a record built around samples from Gary Numan’s late-70s/early-80s electronic sound and destined to become one of the defining tracks of its era.

Years later, @steveangello made a bootleg of it simply because he loved the record.

He kept playing it.
Fans kept asking for it.

And in 2026, more than two decades after the original, that bootleg finally became an official remix.

I played this track so many times in my sets last summer, so hearing Steve play it live himself was incredible… What an energy!!!

Still destroying dancefloors almost 25 years later. 🔥

In Search of Sunrise
Non sarà solo un DJ set.
Sarà un’esperienza.

I was 17 in 1999, and I still remember it as if it were yesterday.
My father came home with a CD by this guy who was jumping on the cover. He put it into our huge stereo system, pressed play… and I was completely blown away.
@moby was probably the first electronic music artist I truly fell in love with. His music accompanied me as I crossed the line between adolescence and adulthood.
When I got my first car at 18, it only had a cassette player, so I recorded that CD onto a cassette — a format that many people probably do not even remember anymore. I think I completely wore it out during those long drives you take when you are young and starting to explore the world, finally feeling free.
Moby’s music became the soundtrack to both the beautiful and the difficult moments of my life.
And the incredible thing is that now, at 44, when I stop for a moment and look back, I realise just how present his music has always been. I have so many memories in which one of his songs is playing in the background, making that moment even more unique.
Seeing him live for the very first time was something almost impossible to describe.
Honestly, at one point, I cried.
Music… I will never get tired of saying it: what an incredible gift.
How lucky we are to have musicians and composers who give us so much of themselves and create the soundtracks to our lives.❤️

Some moments are worth the wait. ❤️

I’ve been following @laidbackluke for so many years. To me, he’s much more than an incredible DJ and producer—he’s been one of the biggest inspirations since the day I decided to start DJing.

His vlogs, the In My Mind series, and the courses he created with @digitaldjtips helped shape my journey and gave me the confidence to take my first steps into this amazing world.

The funny thing? After all my trips to Las Vegas and all the festivals I’ve been to, I never got the chance to see him perform live… until today.

And somehow, it finally happened in my home country. 🇮🇹😝

What a special moment. Thank you @laidbackluke for the inspiration over all these years, and huge thanks to @villasummerfestival for bringing such a legend to Emilia. 🔥

Dreams do come true.
