Light Asylum is one of those bands that I want more of, but they only have one studio album, one EP, and three singles. I really hope a new studio album will come out sometime!

In the meantime, while I patiently wait, here’s Light Asylum’s eponymous album.

If you think about it, Gorillaz’s “Clint Eastwood” wouldn’t have been possible without the influence of Augustus Pablo.

RIP, Bruno Kramm.

Das Ich had been on my radar for a few years but I never owned any of their albums. It took Bruno’s tragic passing to finally get me to invest in the band’s music.

I’m really sorry I missed out on them when Bruno was alive. I do really like what I’ve heard so far.

Shortly after Bruno’s death was announced I ordered Das Ich’s most recent album, “Fanal.” It’s incredible!

This spin’s for you, Bruno. ❤️

I had never heard of The Soft Moon until the news broke about the tragic passing of Jose Luis Vasquez, the man behind the monicker, well over 2 years ago (almost 3).

This album, “Exister,” would become my introduction to his work under The Soft Moon.

What a talent! The soundscapes Jose created are deep, dark and very intriguing to get lost in.

Seriously, the best shows of the year was Cabaret Voltaire. When they announced the tour early in the year in February, I immediately bought a ticket for both nights in Chicago. The excitement and the anticipation increased day to day, month to month. I knew this was going to be very special and the highlight of the year!

@cabaretvoltaireband made this guy very happy!

I can’t thank @malmallinder enough! Thank you once again!
