Last week the Manhattanville Physical Education Associated was formally inducted in to The Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity Board of Directors! We are thrilled to part of a such a distinguished organization!

Next week, the MPE department will be presenting at the 2026 Manhattanville University School of Education Research Symposium.

As the field evolves, so should the classroom. Traditional teaching methods alone aren’t cutting it anymore and there is a growing need to integrate technology, especially AI, into teacher preparation programs.

This research explores that shift through the work of Dr. Matthew Baumoel at Manhattanville University, highlighting how frameworks like Universal Design for Learning, AI tools, and strategies for assessing higher-order thinking (inspired by Susan M. Brookhart) can create more engaging, effective learning experiences. by @mvillempe
