A more playful side of the showroom.

From oversized icons to soft, sculptural forms, these pieces bring a lighter, more expressive energy into the space.

From Gufram’s icons to Meritalia’s expressive seating, this is where design feels more experimental, more tactile, more alive.

The kind of pieces that make you stop, look twice, and smile.

The Shark Lounge by @artifort_furniture takes its name from an unexpected source: the distinctive profile of a shark.

Developed as part of the Shark chair family, the lounge version takes the design in a more relaxed direction, with a generously upholstered shell and a distinctive base that mirrors its silhouette.

What makes the design particularly interesting is how the base becomes an extension of the chair’s form rather than simply supporting it. The curves of the seat continue through the structure below, giving Shark Lounge a strong visual identity from every angle. taken in MVOICE by @mvoiceinterior

Founded in Milan in 1968, the @etro developed its distinctive visual language through a fascination with pattern, colour and decorative traditions. Founder Gimmo Etro’s collection of antique textiles and shawls became the starting point for an extensive archive of historical fabrics and references that continues to inform the @etrohomeinteriors world today.

Florals, botanical forms and intricate motifs are enlarged, layered and reworked through unexpected combinations of colour and texture, moving naturally from fabric into furniture and the wider interior.

More than fifty years later, pattern remains one of the most recognisable expressions of @etrohomeinteriors taken in MVOICE by @mvoiceinterior

Designed by @carloleode for @arteveneziana , Gò is part of the Melt collection, which explores glass through the irregularity and movement created during its transformation.

The table is formed from two layers of baked glass, with deliberately irregular edges and a textured surface that gives each section a different depth. A gradient from midnight blue to transparent, together with partial silvering, changes the appearance of the glass as light moves across it.

Inspired by the tradition of Murano glassmaking, Gò brings the character of the material itself into a contemporary dining table. taken in Madrid, Spain by @mvoiceinterior

Designed by Cini Boeri for @arflex_official in 1973, Botolo plays with exaggerated proportions: three chunky cylindrical legs supporting a soft, rounded seat that feels almost like a character of its own.

Low, inviting and unmistakably playful, it captures the freedom of 1970s Italian design while still looking completely at home in contemporary interiors. taken in MVOICE by @mvoiceinterior

T4 by @uma.objects brings a distinctly futuristic character to modular seating.

Designed by Holloway Li, T4 combines a bold fibreglass shell with soft upholstered seating, creating a strong contrast between its sculptural outer form and inviting interior.

Behind its playful appearance is a flexible modular seating system that can move from a single lounge chair to two-seater, corner and larger sofa configurations. With different colours and upholstery options, T4 can be adapted to residential interiors as well as hospitality and contract spaces.

The T4 Lounge Chair was named Best Eye Candy at the Wallpaper* Design Awards 2023. taken in MVOICE by @mvoiceinterior

@gufram turns 60!

Since 1966, Gufram has blurred the boundaries between furniture, art and radical design, creating objects that are playful, provocative and unmistakably its own.

To celebrate six decades of Gufram, we’re looking back at some of our favourite icons, from Cactus® and Pratone® to Bocca®, Mano and Broken Mirror. Pieces that have travelled far beyond the world of furniture to become part of design and pop culture.

And there’s more to come. Three special 60th anniversary editions will be unveiled very soon.🔜 taken in MVOICE by @mvoiceinterior

Maximilian by @bonaldospa takes inspiration from the refined elegance of 1950s sofas, reinterpreted through generous proportions and a contemporary modular design.

Designed by Sergio Bicego, the sofa is distinguished by its soft upholstered volumes, slender metal feet and tailored stitching across the seat and backrest.

What makes Maximilian particularly interesting is how much can be built into the composition. Different seating elements can be combined with integrated trays, while leather accessories can function as an armrest, magazine holder or practical side table, bringing useful surfaces directly into the sofa itself.

This flexibility allows Maximilian to be configured around the space. taken in MVOICE by @mvoiceinterior

Why hide the recycling bin when it can be part of the room?

Ovetto by SoldiDesign turns an everyday recycling bin into a colourful design object made to be seen. Its sculptural form holds three separate compartments for waste sorting and rotates 360° for easy access from every side.

And there’s more inside: an integrated compactor flattens plastic bottles and cans to save space. Made in Italy using recycled ABS and polypropylene, Ovetto brings a little more design, colour and fun to an object we use every day.

Designed by @biggamedesign for @moustache_editions , the Bold chair takes the familiar language of tubular steel furniture and gives it a softer, more graphic character.

The design is also represented in the collections of institutions including MoMA, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Museum für Gestaltung Zürich and Vitra Design Museum. taken in MVOICE by @mvoiceinterior
