POSTS STORIES REELS

Love is the feeling I had when I saw my home in “The Cottage Journal” Christmas magazine. Getting published and taking my design business nationwide has been a dream of mine. A big thank you to my husband for putting up with my never-ending projects, my design clients, the companies I’ve been able to work with, and all my faithful followers. I’m truly grateful!
A big thank you to @stylishproductions and @radifera It was an honor to work with you two and see you in action.

Every piece tells a story, sometimes it starts on a cobblestone street.
For me, inspiration comes from slow strolls through old European towns, the scent of espresso from a local cafe, or when I stumble upon an antique painting tucked away in a pile.
It’s in those quiet moments, hearing church bells outside your window, pausing in the afternoon for coffee or tea, surrounding yourself with the pieces that truly speak to you, that European living comes to life.
You don’t have to cross the ocean to bring that cozy soulful feeling to home. It’s how you collect, how you savor, and how you live . slowly.#interiordesign #antiques #makehomematter #europeanantiques #edesign #homedecor #vintage #thelittlethings #germany #soulfulhouse by @mwhitenerdesigns

Our home was built in 1927, and I can’t get enough of its charm! The roses in my garden come from the owner’s great-grandfather, and the beautiful tiles in the entryway were made in a Stuttgart factory nearly 100 years ago. They really add to the home’s soul. Every little treasure I’ve found here brings me so much joy and makes this place feel even more special!
I’m currently working on a new project and will be sharing sneak peeks tomorrow! Follow along for all the details. #interiordesign #antiques #makehomematter #europeanantiques #edesign #homedecor #vintage #thelittlethings #garden #germany by @mwhitenerdesigns

Europe has a way of adding soul to everyday life. Imagine a warm candle flickering beside an inviting armchair, or an antique grandfather clock bringing character to your space. Leaves scattered around a rustic shed add a natural touch.

These aren’t just design choices; they create a sense of belonging. You don’t need to live in Europe to enjoy this vibe. It starts with one special piece, a moment of calm, and a cozy corner where you can unwind.

Living abroad has really taught me that embracing slowness can be such a beautiful choice, especially during these lovely fall days!

My 1927 German home might not be perfect, but it’s bursting with charming quirks and wonderful history that I truly love.

Those amazing old doors, the creaky steps, and beautiful floors, along with all my little treasures, constantly remind me to pause and appreciate the moment.

Remember, your home doesn’t have to be perfect, what truly matters is that it’s intentional!

Join me on this cool Fall day in Germany styling my new found treasures! Remember, shopping for antiques is all about making connections, not following rules. My design philosophy in a nutshell: Homes should be beautiful, yes, but they also need to be soulful, genuine and tell your story. They should reflect who you are and embody the things that bring you joy and happiness. Trends are fleeting, and it doesn’t matter what someone else is buying. I believe in the beauty of collected spaces over decorated ones!

What’s your favorite space of your home and what makes it special to you? #collectedhome #homeswithpurpose #storytellingdesign #europeanantiques #traditonal #europeanliving #elledecor #decohome #antiquing #makehomematter by @mwhitenerdesigns

Home isn’t just where you live, it’s where your story unfolds.
Every chipped vase, picture, or antique mirror has a soul... and I believe your home should reflect yours.
Whether it’s a flea market find or a gallery wall you’ve collected for years that makes you smile, beauty matters when it’s true to you.
My hope with MW Designs is to help you create a home that greets you like a warm hug. One that reflects who you are and wraps you in peace and pride every time you walk in.
