Today we remember Charlie Kirk’s life, not for the glory of man, but to give all glory to God. His legacy points us to the true source of unity and hope — Jesus Christ.

Revival is stirring across this nation. Hearts are being awakened, chains are being broken, and through the power of worship, God’s presence is transforming lives. He doesn’t just want your attention — He wants a relationship with you.

“Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?” — Psalm 85:6

May we come together as one, lifting our voices in worship, seeking His face, and finding life in the only One who saves: Jesus.

Charlie Kirk stood unashamed for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With courage and conviction, he spoke truth when others stayed silent, always pointing to the hope found in Christ alone. Let us not forget his voice for the Gospel, and may we be bold in our witness as he was.

🚨 Important Update for Celebrate Recovery at Genoa Church 🚨
Celebrate Recovery is evolving — and so are we.

Beginning Tuesday, July 22 at 7:00 PM, we’re transitioning to a NEW ministry format: 🎯 Open Share Group Only Celebrate Recovery

This is not a permanent change, but one that will help us continue offering support as we transition our ministry. We’re still here. We’re still healing. And we’re still committed to the mission.

Here’s what you can expect:
✅ Gender-specific Open Share Groups
✅ A short devotional from one of the 25 lessons (based on the 12 Steps & 8 Principles)
✅ On alternating weeks, a powerful “minimony” — a brief testimony to bring hope and healing
✅ A simplified format, focused on Jesus-centered recovery and connection

For over 30 years, Celebrate Recovery has helped people overcome hurts, hang-ups, and habits through the power of Christ. This simplified structure has been part of CR since the very beginning — and it’s helped launch CR ministries all over the world.

We’re excited to lean into this tried-and-true format as we continue to grow, heal, and serve together.

📍 Genoa Church 7562 Lewis Center Rd, Westerville, OH
🕖 Tuesdays at 7:00 PM

Come as you are. We’ll meet you there.

Dear Genoa CR Family,

We wanted to share an exciting new chapter and a few important updates with you about what’s happening at Genoa Celebrate Recovery.

As many of you know, Celebrate Recovery is all about life change through Jesus—and God has been doing amazing things in and through this ministry for years! Now, we’re stepping into a new season. Mark has accepted a new role as the Next Steps Pastor in Rising Sun, Indiana, and with that, he and Janelle will be stepping out of the leadership role at Genoa CR.

But before that happens, we’d love to invite you to a special night on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025 at 7 PM. We’ll be sharing our couple’s testimony and spending the evening celebrating everything God has done in this community. If you’ve ever shared your story, served alongside us, or just want to stop in to say hello—we would absolutely love to see you!

Starting Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025 at 7 PM, Genoa CR will move into an “Open Share Only” format for a time.

Please keep this ministry in your prayers as it continues to be a place where people can find healing from life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits. We know God’s not done writing stories of freedom and hope here—and we can’t wait to see what He does next. by @mwillison92

PRAYER THAT LISTENS | LEARNING FROM HANNAH 🙏

Hannah’s story in 1 Samuel is one of deep heartbreak, bold faith, and powerful prayer. She didn’t just pray in general terms—she prayed specifically. She asked God for a son:

“In her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the Lord, weeping bitterly. And she made a vow, saying, ‘Lord Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me… then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life.’”
— 1 Samuel 1:10–11

She poured out her soul before God, and then she listened. And when God answered, she responded with obedience. Her prayer wasn’t just emotional—it was transformative. She followed through and gave Samuel back to the Lord:

“I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord.”
— 1 Samuel 1:27–28

Hannah’s story reminds us of two powerful truths:

 1. Be specific in your prayers. God invites us to bring our deepest needs and desires before Him.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” — Philippians 4:6

 2. Take time to listen. Prayer is not just talking—it’s making space to hear.
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” — John 10:27

So today, pause and ask:
 • Are you listening to God’s direction in your life?
 • Are you willing to go where He sends you?
 • Are you asking Him to show you what He wants to change in your life?

Prayer isn’t just about getting answers—it’s about becoming who God is calling you to be. Let’s not just speak to God—let’s learn to listen for Him.

🎉🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my amazing wife, Janelle! 🎂🎉

She’s beautiful, brilliant, and somehow still loves me despite my “dad jokes”, questionable dance moves, and tendency to start deep theological debates at bedtime. 😂

Seriously though, I thank God every day for her heart, her strength, and the way she reflects Christ’s love in everything she does.

“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord…”
— 1 Corinthians 15:58

Janelle lives this verse out loud. Whether she’s loving our family, serving others, or just laughing at my bad jokes (ok, groaning at them), she does it all for the glory of God.

I love you, babe. Thank you for being the best part of my calling and my life. Here’s to many more adventures, late-night ice cream runs, and Sunday naps! 💛🎈

Today, one of my faith heroes went home to be with Jesus — Phil Robertson. A man who once lived far from God, but who experienced radical transformation through the love of Christ. From duck calls to altar calls, Phil boldly followed the calling God placed on his life to preach the Word and make disciples.

He never shied away from truth. He spoke the name of Jesus with conviction, passion, and love. Countless souls were led to Christ because Phil chose to say “yes” to God — not just once, but daily. His legacy is not just in the lives he touched here, but in the eternal impact he made for the Kingdom.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
— Matthew 28:19-20

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
— 2 Timothy 4:7

“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
— Matthew 25:23

Thank you, Phil, for showing what it means to live unashamed of the Gospel. I can only imagine the celebration in heaven today. 🕊️💛
