experts are starting to refer to covid as “airborne aids” because of the detriment to the immune system, as well as other systems in your body. Brain damage, respiratory complications, cardiovascular complications… the list is long.

If you stopped masking, consider now is a good time to start again. Muliple flu variants are around right now, and the flu strain going around isn‘t well matched by this year’s vaccine. Plus, Covid is still around killing or long term disabling folks.

I know it sucks that this is probably the new normal; masking isn’t my favorite. things have changed. The world is different. Covid is a wickedly smart and dangerous virus with long reaching, long term effects.

I’ve spent most of my life wanting attention and feeling ashamed of that.

I am an extrovert and a big personality. I have a loud voice and want to be heard. But I am so ashamed by how much I want attention on me. This is all childhood trauma and shit, so it’s not really logical at all. It just is.

I decided in 2023 i was really going to lean in to my discomfort and do a boudoir photo shoot with @everyboudie. Let me tell you she is incredible. Please book with her, especially if you never imagined yourself doing something like this. She is the kindest person, and she made me feel as if I was setting the camera on fire. I loved every second of getting the photos taken.

This is the hard part. Posting them. Saying, “hey look I did this sexy photo shoot” to the folks who follow me. My heart is trying its best to race, even thru the depression feelings.

So, here’s the sexy photo shoot I did. I hope you like them, because I do, and I look hot as fuck.

Today marks the first office rice cooker lunch with @tank_toque. We made some fresh rice and had our delicious homemade 반찬 (side dishes / banchan), including 가지나물 (marinated eggplant), bok choy 김치 (kimchi), 연어장 (soy marinated raw salmon), and egg with dried radish fried in lard.

Just the first of many great office food experiences!

My sweetest girl, my Mama cat, passed on tonight at around 2 AM while she rested on Henri’s giant dog bed, claiming it all for herself.

She was almost 18, and she spent 16 years of her life with me. We moved 14 times together, lived in 4 different states, and shared every hard time and good time I’ve had since graduating from Fredonia.

She always looked grumpy, but that was just her face. She actually just got sweeter and more loving over time.

I am going to miss her everyday, because it’s hard to imagine life without her. by @mx.samb
