Anne Rice Cameo Portrait
10/4/1941 - 12/11/2021

To know @annericeauthor ‘s work was to be stripped raw to your truest core, to feel grotesque and beautiful in equal measure, to see the light within darkness, to come to know your very best in the midst of what could feel like your very worst. Throughout it all, to be held utterly, and embraced for it all the same. by @mxindrik

Late night digital drawing. Frankenstein’s Creature from Del Toro’s latest film.

“To you I am obscene, but to myself I simply am.”

Being trans in today’s political climate, that line resonated so much with me.

After an extended hiatus, I’ll be streaming my art again tonight on Twitch, 7-9 pm CT (8-10 ET/5-7 PT). I’m planning to finish up my latest Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles fan art piece, and may pop on and off mic depending on how I feel, though you can expect the usual goth tunes and chill vibes!

I’ve had this electric pumpkin for over a decade, and it’s become faded due to the elements and the passage of time. This year I decided it was time it got a makeover! by @mxindrik
