My favourite snaps from AWPC worlds 🌎 @shotslikesumo @jager_shoots with the goods 👌 📸

I've had pretty bad imposter syndrome the last few days and seeing these has been a great reminder of the mad achievement it's been getting to worlds within 7 months of my first comp! I had so much fun as always.
Huge thanks to the whole team @british_powerlifting_union who made this possible and kept me safe ❤️

Evening stroll 🌄 by @mxrgo_oo

Too many photos to choose from, 6 years today with Bonnie at my side ❤️
Lived in 7 different postcodes, explored most of Cornwall, learnt some cool tricks, barked at the postman, snoozed a lot!
Here's to many more beautiful years watching little legs go grey.

These photos mean more to me than you think.

For most of my life I hated my thighs, I wore the baggiest clothes possible, including joggers to ballet, and actually dropped out of my athletics club when shorts became mandatory. Even 20-year-old me would never have worn a singlet 🥲 These days my quads are my favourite part of me 😄

Lifting has made me fall in love with my body. There's nothing I'd rather be than strong. Comp photos are such a refreshing reminder of that, because I only have nice things to say to myself when I look at these 😊 ✨️ and that's just as big progress as that PR!

Be kind to yourself

It is such a privilege to be able to move, lift, compete and have an environment where I can put myself first and embrace who I am.

I love the body that allows me to do it all

More PRs coming, we're only 5 weeks out now LFG

Have you ever seen anyone smile so much next to their 3 red lights? 😂

There was a time when failing at anything in life consumed me. I belittled myself for the smallest f*ck-ups and carried disappointment with me for far longer than I should have.

These days I see failure differently. It's feedback. It's proof I pushed my limits. It's another possibility waiting to happen.

Powerlifting has taught me to wear failure with pride, to learn from it, let it go, and keep showing up motivated.

I'm incredibly proud of what I've achieved at comp, but I'm even prouder of the person who can smile at a failed lift and know it's just one small moment in a much bigger story.

Those red plates will be mine by the end of the year LFG!
