𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝙷𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝙸𝚝 𝙴𝚊𝚜𝚢
Written by Ryan Mathis
Directed by Anna Manzella and Ryan Mathis

I am beyond thrilled to say that this past weekend, we officially wrapped on my first short film at DePaul, “You Have It Easy.” I had the pleasure of co-directing this film with the wonderful @anna.manzella.films and to see someone put so much love and effort into something so important to me means the absolute world to me, and I could not have done it without her. Everyone on the cast and crew put so much effort into this film, and I cannot thank them enough. I especially want to thank the producers, @gwyn.rawlings and @filmsbykavs , and the department: DP @carissarose24 , Gaffer @nathan.wagner1 , Sound Mixer @jakehensleyfilms , and Production Designer @_melanin_kid_ , for all the hard work they put into preparing for filming and for leading their departments so well. The performances were outstanding, especially from @amarebelll . This is a really important story to me, and I cannot wait for everyone to see it. Thank you so much to everyone who supported me and this film, as we would not be here without you.

It’s been a while film account! I’ve been on a few sets since last time that I forgot to post, but we’re back now! This past weekend, I had the opportunity to help one of my best friends @jaxson_hall make his first film at DePaul. I am so incredibly excited to see the outcome, because I think he made something really special here. A big shoutout and thank you to my g/e squad, @kjames_ervin, @kanesnguyen, and @nyhan.mp3, for making this shoot so fun and so successful. I learned so much from all of you.

My Role: Grip

For this set I got to go all the way up to Evanston! I spent most of my time on this set using trash bags and moving one big light set up. I had a lot of fun and can’t wait to see this finished. The shots and the story are beautiful!
