Obsession soundtrack! The soundtrack for @curry.barker’s @obsessionthemovie is out in these special old school 80’s/90’s styled CD boxes. The score by @rockburwell is incredible and gives the film an eerie, synth element that pairs very well with the film. You can find this soundtrack at @criminalrecords! #obsessionmovie#currybarker #rockburwell taken in Criminal Records Atlanta by @mxwright86

Digger screening in Atlanta! Alejandro González Iñárritu’s @diggerthemovie is a subversive and satirical dark comedy that sharply critiques corporate greed, climate change, political hypocrisy, and truth vs fiction. @tomcruise is excellent as Digger Rockwell, leading an incredibly stacked cast who all give great performances. This film is a truly bittersweet swan song for @warnerbros as we know it! #digger #tomcruise #warnerbros #AlejandroGonzálezIñárritu taken in Landmark's Midtown Art Cinema by @mxwright86

Chelsea Handler at the Carter Center! Major kudos to @chelseahandler for coming to @thecartercenter today to talk with us about the importance of mental health and showing empathy for people during these bizarre and stressful times. Chelsea was hilarious and made a lot of great points. The discussion was led by Neetu Abad and late Jimmy Carter’s grandson, Jason Carter, made an appearance as well. It was a truly awesome event. Also, I agree with the thematic message today that mental health should really just be called “health”. #chelseahandler #cartercenter taken in The Carter Center by @mxwright86

Verity early screening in Atlanta! Michael Showalter’s @verityfilm is a pulpy psychological thriller with some clever twists and turns. @annehathaway, @dakotajohnson, and Josh Hartnett have an great dynamic and the film’s script by screenwriter & @appletv’s Cape Fear showrunner Nick Antosca is sharply written and keeps you guessing. Also, a great subtle @jesusandmarychain tribute included. Highly recommend this @colleenhoover adaption that comes out tomorrow! #colleenhoover #annehathaway #dakotajohnson #joshhartnett taken in Regal Atlantic Station ScreenX, IMAX, RPX & VIP by @mxwright86

Tremors screening in Atlanta! Big thanks to @regalmovies for bringing back the 1990 cult-classic as part of Regal’s Month of Masterpieces festival. This film was personally selected by filmmaker @edgarwright. Tremors is a great horror-comedy that pays tribute to classic 1950s monster movies while adding modern flair and introducing a new and instantly iconic creature. Fred Ward and @kevinbacon have a hilarious dynamic and @actormichaelgross is a scene stealer as Burt Gummer. More movies in this series to come daily all month long! #tremors #kevinbacon #fredward #graboids #universalpictures taken in Regal Atlantic Station ScreenX, IMAX, RPX & VIP by @mxwright86

Primetime screening in Atlanta! @lanceopp’s @primetimemovie is a psychological revisionist film about the cost of blind ambition & hubris, as well as the blurred lines between journalism, entertainment, and vigilantism. Robert Pattinson is excellent as Chris Hansen and he leads a great ensemble cast by the likes of @phoebebridgers, @skylergisondo, @therealbokeem, and @annafaris. Highly recommend this dark media satire! #primetime #A24 #robertpattinson taken in Regal Atlantic Station ScreenX, IMAX, RPX & VIP by @mxwright86

Deadly Prey Gallery in Atlanta! Kudos to @videodrome_atl for hosting the @deadlypreygallery pop up at @thesupermarket.atl tonight. I look forward to this coming to Atlanta every year. It’s always great to see these unique handmade posters up close and it was awesome to see ‘em in an event space like the Supermarket. Can’t wait to see this artwork again (and go back to The Supermarket- that space is amazing)! #deadlypreygallery #artwork #videodrome taken in The Supermarket by @mxwright86

Sound Mixers & Small Teams…and Mixer at the Post Atlanta Conference! This great end of day panel & mixer was an awesome way to end the @postatlantaconference at @plazaatlanta. The panel led by @elise__pacetti_riley, @michael_audio, and @delmixedit highlighted how to scale workflows for TV shows and feature films. Fun fact, Del Tabor recently worked on @assemblyatlanta’s @beyondthegatescbs! After the panel, there was a great mixer and food via @ponkochicken. This was a perfect conclusion to the Post Atlanta Conference-what a great weekend! #plazaatlanta #postatlantaconference #filmediting #beyondthegates taken in Plaza Atlanta by @mxwright86
