My entry in the #instavillageshow2026 in the category “garden glimmers” judged by @no12_garden_house . Sometimes I can’t believe how lucky I am. Not for material things. But for this little space I call mine. It’s got everything I need. Colour, wildlife, somewhere to sit when the work is done. by @my_little_plot

Mid September. We’ve had some proper autumn wind & rain this week but the garden is still standing . The stars are the grasses. Not playing the lead but still providing colour are the perennials . Especially the containers . It’s not a big garden. Or a posh garden. But I do my best with what I’ve got . Hope you’ll follow along to see what the next season brings. There will be plenty going on I can assure you ! #garden #gardening #gardensofinstagram #gardenlife #septembergarden by @my_little_plot

November! How did that happen. Lots achieved over the last couple of days, thanks to the sunshine. Hope you’ve all managed to get outside? Still bulbs to plant, plants to move and general tidying.

Finally a dry day without a gale force wind ! I’ve been wanting to crack on with the container display in the seating area since it was blown to Kansas last week! It’s going to need tweaking once my bulbs appear but that’s ok. Did you manage some time outside today ? Follow me @my_little_plot for seasonal gardening updates . Garden seating area . A little reintroduction. Just a little of what you’ll see on my account. Some things are new . Some are what you’re used to seeing. Gardening. Seed sowing. Flowers. New to here is crochet which I’ve recently taken up. I’m still the same. My garden is still the same. If these things look like something you love too ? You’re in the right place . gardening gardens seed sowing crochet reintroduction garden by @my_little_plot

Thought I’d show you a bit on how my garden started . It’s not that long ago that it was a blank canvas plus a few problems left from previous owners. I’ve created a garden I want . It’s not perfect and I make mistakes but there’s always next year . Things might look a bit 💚 on this side of the garden but there will be colour come spring. Pulmonaria, hardy geraniums, forget me nots and allium purple sensation are all waiting their turn to shine ✨ #gardening #foliage #evergreenplants #gardensofinstagram #garden by @my_little_plot

Not too bad for October. I didn’t get everything done on my list today but I got the mowing done ! Can’t stop thinking about bulbs ! Not bought many yet ! I really need to crack on with that ! Hope you’ve all had a good day whatever you’ve been doing . #gardening #garden #gardensofinstagram #octobergarden #gardenlove by @my_little_plot
