My kind of rich.. a little reflection on what makes everyday life feel special🙌🏼

Putting this carousel together, I realised there’s one more thing I’d add. Something that means a great deal to me.

No. 11 — Creating something that becomes part of someone else’s life🤍🤲🏻

Creating MyRoadmap has made me notice how personal everyday things can become. I choose the colours, materials, and details of a planner cover, paper inserts, writing tools, stickers, journal accessories.., but the person who carries it gives it a meaning of their own. I love knowing that something I imagined becomes a place for someone else’s ideas.

For me, that’s a lovely kind of richness. Making something with care and seeing it find a place in someone’s life.

We often lose sight of enjoying the present, caught up in the past or future. And when it feels like there’s nothing special or beautiful happening right now, you open your photo gallery and realize: you’ve lived incredibly happy, genuine, and beautiful moments. Yet we only appreciate them in hindsight. It’s a little sad we don’t embrace those moments while they happen.

To truly savor the moment, I journal 📝—opening up to the present. I reflect on what intrigued me today, what I loved most, what emotion I felt, was I happy in that moment? 🤔This practice keeps me grounded in the now, instead of drifting to the past or future.

So let’s try to be more present, more patient, and more kind to the now, because that’s what truly matters.🙌🏼
