i had a great grandmother who lived to be 100 years old always tell me, “this too, shall pass.” it’s short and sweet, but with a lot of meaning. little did i know that this saying would change my life. life will get dark, but the light is always waiting for you at the end. you have to stay strong no matter what, God has a plan for you. your path might be dark and twisty, but you will reach comfort when the light hits. although my high school track days are over, light is still ahead of me. thank you to my teammates for making my senior year special; your support will take me far. thank you coach q for being there for me every step of the way. you’re not just a coach; you are my mentor, my never ending supporter, and like a brother to me. my new colors might me purple, orange and white, but i will always bleed black and gold. 🫶🏼
