As I tearfully write this I would like to say i am so thankful for this team. Even though the 4 years of my college career did not go as intended, my dreams never shortened. After leaving my first college I was lost and defeated. Missouri baptist not only saved my life but gave me hope. This program showed me what true genuine connection was on and off the field. My first year at missouri baptist I tore my labrum, I tried everything in my power to not let my injury take over my life but id be lying if I said it didn’t, my injury was a huge uphill battle that seemed to be never ending even with the surgery but even with this going on i still made sure I showed up and put in the work, I stayed determined one of my goals was to never give up. I never stopped chasing my dreams. I did the rehab, I worked my way back but it still just was not enough. I play everyday in pain and some days i cannot play at all. The girls, coaches, athletic trainers and my family are with me every step of the way. With only playing 1 season of my 4 I had a decision to make and it was a hard one with years left of eligibility, i had to think about my body in the next 10 years. As I hang up my cleats I will always have the bitter sweet memory of missouri baptist. My memories wont be me limping down the field or beating my self up for not practicing but it will be the memory of us laughing in the hotel rooms, having lunch before practices, playing quip lash, and building forever bonds. I love this program and these girls forever. All stories come to an end for a new chapter to start. #9 signing out✌🏻 by @myaallison
