Today is my best friend’s 25th birthday, and how lucky am I to have a sister who I also get to call my best friend. That is so special to me. To know Ava is to know joy, love, compassion, generosity, and laughter. Ava has continued to show up for me in every way throughout my life, even when I wasn’t always able to do the same. She has a bold personality, but she carries it with pride. I can proudly say she is who I want to be when I grow up. I love you, Ave. by @myabfree

as i am sitting on the plane on my way home from new zealand i am filled with the insane amount of love i have received from this place. during my time here i have learned the beauty of having close relationships with the ones around you no matter how long you have known them. no matter the amount of people on campus you are all doing the same thing. you wake up, go to breakfast, then lectures, then eat all the sweets you can at morning tea, go back to lectures, then it’s lunch, have a study period which always turned into free time, then it’s dinner and then you’re all sitting around chatting or playing a game. you live together. you cry together. you laugh together, but most importantly you grow together. not only are you just growing in a self way you are growing closer to Christ. all together and all at once. it’s such a beautiful thing to witness and be apart of. one day you are asking where everyone is from and the next you are talking about your life story and what God has helped you through, i have never experienced that in my life and i couldn’t be more thankful that i did. i have learned what it means to see Christ in people. what it means to say you are brothers and sisters in Christ and what an insane blessing that has been. I thank the Lord everyday for what he has provided for me and taught me over my time in capernwray New Zealand and most importantly the people He has put in my life because each day they made me want to be a better person. i am truly going to miss nz. by @myabfree
