This morning we lost someone very special.

For those of you who aren’t aware, Mrs. Miller has been fighting cancer for about 5 years. Even through the toughest of times she always had a smile on her face. She would never show the severity of what she was going through, always saying that she will be okay in the end. I had the privilege of being able to be one of her students at the beginning of this school year. She pushed me through some of the hardest assignments, believing in me when I didn’t think i could do it. She taught me so much that will always stick with me. She was able to come into school and see us at the end of March, and talk to us about how she was doing. I am very thankful for the time I got to talk with her not knowing that it would be the last time I got to spend with her.

She will be forever missed. Please keep her friends, family and the seniors class in your prayers.

Fly high Mrs. Miller, you are loved and missed by so many. ❤️🕊️ taken in Wawasee High School by @myadyson_08

4 years later… it’s all over. if you would have told me my freshman year that i would be winning state my senior year, i would have thought you were crazy. this is such an amazing way to wrap up my marching career. we made it though it all through sunscreen, sweat, and tears. while yes marching band is my most favorite thing to, and i am very sad for it to be ending. i am extremely grateful for how far we went this season. we worked so hard and man has it paid off. i am very proud of all of us, thank you for an amazing 4 years, most of the best times happened on the field.

never thought this day would come but…
