To Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.,

PROUD as a Delta Woman! It has always been a dream to wear my crimson and cream. Thank you Delta for helping me become stronger and more resilient. I am grateful I get to be apart of such an amazing sorority!

To my Dear FORCES,

The girls who have seen me ugly laugh and cry! Y’all have always lifted me up and pushed me to be the best I can be. You girls have taught me how to be courageous, confident, and a better leader. As the only child, y’all have taught me a different type of love. Sisterhood. As our line grows older and we go our separate ways, I’m not worried because I know that we’re in this for life. I love you Divas, and I am so excited to celebrate all of our future accomplishments.

When they say you will have a special relationship with your front and back, they were not lying. You two have never failed to remind me who is in charge during some of my toughest times in college. 18 you truly do protect my front, and 20 you always have my back. I love you two always!

“And again, I will put my trust in him.”

On December 15 at 2:00PM, I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and a minor in Spanish. I will be the first to admit that college has not been the easiest. BUT GOD. I have learned to praise God in the midst of my struggles because through him I will always prevail. With the help of a loving God and my supportive parents that have guided me every step, I am happy to close one chapter and begin a new one. As I pursue further education, I plan to continue to walk by faith and let God lead me on the path that I am destined for. I’m am beyond grateful for the lessons, friendships, and experiences I have gained from undergrad. I am so excited to see where the future takes me.
