On May 8th, I will walk across the stage at Texas Southern University and receive my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Sociology — Summa Cum Laude. 🎓

This moment is bigger than a diploma. I am the daughter of two teenage parents who poured everything into me — and I am their degree. Their sacrifice is the reason I stand here today. Texas made me. TSU transformed me. And Jesus sustained me.

This degree was never just an academic pursuit. It was a testimony. It deepened my relationship with GOD, revealed my purpose, and prepared me for the next chapter — pursuing my J.D. at a T-14 law school.

AND let the record show — I did it with a 3.9 GPA. Not by accident. Not by luck. By discipline, by grace, and by an unrelenting decision to be excellent even when no one was watching.

To my bonus parents, who chose me at five years old and never looked back — you are woven into every part of this. To my family, friends, mentors, and the community that has poured into me without hesitation — thank you. My success is not mine alone. It belongs to every person who believed in me, invested in me, and refused to let me settle for less than my best.

And to Tre — gone but never forgotten. Every milestone I reach, I reach with you in mind. This one is for you $lime❤️.

The journey is just beginning.
