happy 25th birthday to the absolute love of my life !!!! thank you for continuing to make me feel like the luckiest girl in the world every single day. you make me feel so safe, loved, cared for, wanted, comforted, and so much more. there are no amount of words to find and express how much you truly mean to me, you’ve helped me through some of the darkest and scariest times, literally since day one. you are the most amazing father to both of our babies. i think valarie’s birthday gift to you this year is her doing a complete 180 and becoming a dada’s girl all of a sudden. i love you so much, and i can’t wait to celebrate you today, tomorrow, and every day after for the rest of my life. 🤍😘 you and me forever and ever!

today is your due date, and i wish so badly with everything in me that we were able to meet you now instead of five months ago. gods plan was to grace us with your love for only a little while and his plan goes further beyond what our brains can understand. your down syndrome diagnosis was only the tip of the iceberg of all of your tiny battles, from the outside you looked so perfect but on the inside you fought so many complications. it isn’t fair but we are learning to be okay, we still get sad thinking of what life would be with you still physically in it, and valarie talks and asks about you just about daily. she knows you’re home in heaven in jesus’ arms as he rocks you to sleep, she uses her little jazz hands to reach to the sky followed by “jeeeesuuussss” as badly as i wish i saw you for the first time now and not then, i’m forever grateful that all you knew was love and nothing less. from before we even knew you were created, the day i saw two pink lines, first time hearing your heartbeat, feeling your kicks, finding out i was having a little boy, getting your diagnosis, getting to see you almost every other week for ultrasounds, even throughout all my morning sickness and food aversions…there was never a day that went by where i didnt love you with my entire heart and soul. your birthday will always be february 10th but june 8th will always be your day too, the day that should’ve been compared to what was. i love you and miss you so much cj, send me a sign today. 🩵 by @myanicole_x0

how lucky am i to have experienced four amazing years with the love of my life? it amazes me how it’s ONLY been four years when it feels like i’ve lived a lifetime with you by my side already. nothing has felt more “right” in my life than you, you make life so easy and i couldn’t be more grateful. from coworkers, to long distance, turning you into a disney lover, trips across the country, creating and raising beautiful babies, and everything else in between, there’s never a second guess of who i want to do it with and it’s always going to be you. 🤍 happy anniversary to us, and to many many many more beautiful years together. i love you forever. by @myanicole_x0
