17 years ago today two young woman took a CRAZY leap of faith on themselves out of pure passion and excited about the unknown… and the rest is history…

We have evolved in these many years and been through more ups and downs than we can count! Some incredible moments/clients - and some “learning experience” 😉. The bottom line is, when starting something from scratch, you need to truly believe in something bigger than yourself… it’s all a leap of faith! Even when we had others who didn’t understand - we stayed true to who we were.

No matter where this journey continues to take us, we know that what we have created has been nothing short of amazing! I’m proud of us… of who we were and now more than ever, of who we are. We are fighters, we are strong, we are creatives, we are mothers, wives, we are loud voices - we are beautiful and even magical 😉.

Happy Saturday! I’m seeing some new faces and thought it would be nice to say hi, who we are here at My Bellissima and who I am. Glad you are here for this journey. My name is Laura Collins and I am 1/2 of this built company which was started almost 17 years ago this August… How crazy is that 😳! I am a wife to Bill @coll542000 a mom to two little girls (Charlotte and Mackenzie) a freelance designer for @atoeevents and entrepreneur through and through always looking for good opportunities (@beautycounter @hughandgrace )….bottom line - I have a SERIOUS passion for the pretty and making life feel genuine.

My business partner and BFF @karamia646 and I started this business to create one of a kind events and never in our wildest dreams would we have thought it would turn into the incredible company that it is today!! For me, it is what grounds me, truly defines my passion and my creativity. I have a no BS attitude and fight for what I love…I hate cookie cutter anything and adore creating one of a kind events - ANYWHERE!

My passion in this business has definitely evolved. Florals/design make me happy. I like to push the envelope with design and if God lets me, even defy gravity as well😉

On a personal note, I love to sing - Music is a HUGE passion of mine…I can’t get enough of the city (New York that is 😉) - yet such a beach lover… cooking in general is my happy place and obsessed with wine and GREAT restaurants…I love my cats, lol and still obsessed with my husband after almost 12 years of marriage. Lastly my girls are my ENTIRE world… I want them to see a strong woman that can show them they can be ANYTHING they want to be and do anything they want to do as long as they put in the fight for it and have the guts to try. You get a pat on the back when you deserve it!
