this was a challenging drawing but i think it’s one of my favorite things i’ve drawn! it’s definitely my favorite padfoot. this is a redraw of a vintage canis major illustration, changed to look like padfoot and to match the modern constellation’s shape.

made a little padfoot doodle last night!

**the constellation is not perfectly accurate and i know that. i drew the dog before i had the constellation idea so i changed it to fit the dog instead of the other way around lol

Posted chapter three of my wip today and I finally made a cute lil graphic to share on the feed here. Link to the chapter is in my stories, and if you’re keeping up with the fic I’d really appreciate if you could read the beginning note 💛
-
[ID: closeup of rumpled peach colored bedsheets with a bright spot of sunlight in the upper right corner. Across the top is the text “gut-deep, all-consuming, heart-bruising, shame-inducing (love)” in red cursive font. Below the text is a graphic of two hands ripping a heart into two in the same shade of red.]

Okay finally getting around to posting the bind I made for a trade with @thedabblingshepherdessbindery! When I found out Sarah hadn’t read any of lunchbucket’s fics I knew this would be the perfect bind to make for her. This was my first flip bind as well as a remake of my very first fanfic bind, and I had a ton of fun with it. Upgrades from the original bind include streamlining the cover design and choosing a more fun bookcloth, better gold HTV (real foil instead of the weird Siser electric stuff), adding fun designs to the typeset (it was very bare bones originally), and adding in the sequel. I wasn’t originally planning to make myself a new copy but with how gorgeous this one came out I just might have to!
Last slide is my clumsy attempt to show off the opalescent effect of the white htv and color shift of the duo bookcloth.

You might remember I posted photos of this bind a few months ago, sans dust jacket. Well I finally printed the dust jacket, sooo here it is again, actually looking like a geode this time! Plus nicer photos of the cover and typeset, yay.
-
[ID: seven photos of a hand bound book on a background of collaged book pages. Photo one shows the cover with the dust jacket, which is a gray stone texture with the title and author name in black. Two shows the spine with the jacket, which is the same. Three shows the cover under the jacket, which is a purple and gold agate patterned paper, with a black-gold cloth for the spine and a brown ribbon bookmark with a translucent blue brontosaurus charm. Four shows the endpapers, a dark green leaf pattern. Five shows the title page, which reads “LOVE FINDS A WAY” in the Jurassic Park font with pterodactyls in the upper right corner, a t-rex skeleton in the bottom left, and a circle around its head with the author’s name, “littleoldrachel”, inside. Six shows the prologue, with “PROLOGUE” in the Jurassic Park font and a dino font drop cap. Seven shows the first page of chapter 4, with four slash/claw marks at the top representing chapter one and a dino font drop cap.]

I finished this bind in January but kept forgetting to post it oops. I decided I needed to make an entire moonymoment matching set with cover art by @siryus.art so here is saccharine! Adorable typeset is by @agirlsbookbinds, thank you so much for allowing me to use it! Not sure if anyone will notice why I chose these endpapers but if you’ve read it I think (hope) you will.

If you watch my stories you’ll know this bind was…a *struggle* but we got here eventually! And hey, having a messed-up textblock is actually pretty useful for practicing new techniques.
-
[ID: seven photos of a quarto sized hand bound copy of saccharine by moonymoment on a background of collaged book pages. Photo one shows the cover, a light brown background with a drawing by Joe of Sirius and Remus in brown shirts, the title in white bubble letters, and the author name in white in a hand written sans font. Two shows the dark brown spine with light pink title and author name. Three shows the light brown back cover with the summary in white and a graphic of a notepad and pen beneath it; the notepad reads “Hi, Remus!!!!!!!!!!” in a handwriting font. Four and five show the endpapers: first is solid light yellow, second is solid red. Six show the title page drawn by Rachel: a refrigerator with magnet letters spelling out the title, author, and “your tie is ugly.” Seven shows a page from the fic with Rachel’s typeset where the fridge messages are typed in a magnet-esque font and the handwritten message is in a handwriting font.]

so happy i can finally share this!! i wrote this fic for @peachyybabe.fics as part of the @misc.marauders.fests winter fic exchange. it’s a bit different than my usual and was so fun to write!
-
[ID: a navy blue graphic with “the moon sinks her claws deep” in white all caps text, “@ mybelovedmoon on AO3” in smaller white text below it, a light yellow drawing of a full moon below that, and the fic summary below that. the fic summary reads “Remus wants to argue. He’s never gone to St. Mungo’s after a full moon, and he doesn’t want to start now. He doesn’t want to start ever.
But from the way his head is spinning, he can tell that he’s lost far too much blood, and he knows he hit his head, as well.” at the top of the graphic it says “6,639 words rated M” and “no archive warnings.”]

Remus’s plant shop from “my jokes are my armour, my kindness is my sword” by @littleoldrachel4 as a very belated Christmas gift to her! Figured I’d post it here for everyone else to see too. If you haven’t read this fic yet you are missing out; go read it!! It’s a plant shop owner Remus AU with trans, disabled, fat Remus, background Jegulily with nonbinary Regulus, and so so much lovely comforting found family and acceptance.
-
[Digital drawing of a plant shopfront with tall shelves full of plants in the windows, wood panel flooring in the shop, a pride flag hanging on the back wall of the shop, and a sign reading “Lupin’s Lupins” in green. The ground outside the shop is brick and has more plants stacked on it.]
