🚨 😮 The 3 Blank Passport Page TRAP 🚨

Did you know you can be denied boarding even if your passport is fully valid and has empty pages? 😳

Even as a very experienced traveller I sometimes have trip ups the main thing is to remain calm and not let it get out of hand.

Here is exactly what happened to me on my recent trip and why I thought I was going to be stranded and therefore had to nearly cancel my trip and scramble to get an Emergency Travel Document (ETD). 😦

Growing up these were just not things I thought I would ever be able to do as a child. This is my second helicopter ride in Africa and it feels just as surreal as the first one.

It still feels like a pinch me moment flying over Victoria Falls and being constantly wowed felt like my younger self was so in awe 🫢🥹

You can do the tour on both the Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 and Zambia 🇿🇲 side. I did mine on the Zimbabwe side and there are two ride options:
🚁 Short Ride (12-15 minutes) $140-$203 (£110-£160) per person, views are over the falls and the Zambezi River
🚁 Longer Ride (24–25 minutes) $328-$340+ (£258-£268) per person which includes game views over the National Park 🏞️

Kapana is just delicious for no reason 😂🤤 I wish I was back in Namibia again so I could head to Single Quarters just for this succulent tasty grilled meat.

If you haven’t started planning for your trips for 2027 you most likely won’t be travelling next year. 😮‍💨

And I’m not talking about having everything booked! It can be simple things like:

🛩️Having a quick list of where you want to go.
🛩️ Setting up flight alerts for your chosen destinations.
🛩️ A list of activities or even hotels you have bookmarked.

Travelling starts with planning and if you plan early and well it can be such a smoother process.

Travelling and exploring the Motherland has been an absolute honour and the fact that I am able to do this and share it with you with my own eyes makes it that much better. 🥹♥️

So many people go to the places that are popular on social media follow the crowd. Not me, I go where I can challenge myself see something new and learn more about myself. 🥹

Now that I have 19 African countries in my pocket I need some suggestions of African countries that I haven’t been before to make it 20!

14 countries in just 9 months! ✈️ What an amazing travel year this has been. Closing the best month of the year! 😛

This is a lifestyle that I’ve always dreamed about. I am so deeply thankful to God for being be able to do this by myself, mostly solo. Maturing is if you want to go you will go🙏🏽✨

🇳🇦Namibia was and will always remain as one of the best countries I have ever visited, and because of this I have decided to go back again next year but this time I want to take you along with me.

Worth noting if you are only visiting Botswana and/or Zambia you do not need a visa with a British passport. However, Zimbabwe requires a visa and two plank pages in your passport.

Do always check the requirements online when travelling.

🐘 Today is National Elephant Appreciation Day!

🇧🇼 While in Botswana I saw 100s of elephants at the Chobe National Park in Botswana which has the world’s largest elephant population, at around 130,000!

Elephants are the best animals in the world! They’re the largest land animals on Earth and are pregnant for 22 months (almost two whole years 😮)

Made it to Zimbabwe for a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River 🚢🇿🇼

Country 69 and 17th African country for me. An achievement that I never imagined to achieve in my lifetime but this trip has showed me how resilient I am how I love the continent and just how much I have a tenacity to keep going and doing the things I love.
