“Fiction. Friction. Creation. Destruction. Opposition. Aggression. Ambition. Heart. Hate. Courage. Spite. Beauty. Desperation. LOVE. Fear. Glamour. Weakness. Hope.

Fatalism.”

My love letter to Gerard’s breakup letter. Takes on a hell of a new meaning these days. When you accomplish a dream, it’s not a dream anymore. Then other dreams come to you.

I’m so excited to say that I’ll have big beautiful photo cards at LA2 10/23, and this will be on the back of every one.

It’ll also be available as a poster-sized fine art print in my print shop, coming soon — stay tuned.

My Chemical Romance Forever 🖤❤️‍🔥🖤

My Chemical Romance for @revolvermag’s Taste of Chaos Tour special issue, 2005.

I’ll be posting the individual portraits in the post after this! Gerard and Mikey were introduced to horror media by their mother, which later shaped the band’s aesthetic. Cool.

Gerard also opens up with addiction and suicidal thoughts in this issue. Really happy he was talked out of it and is with us today. :,)

The Black Parade Is Dead! | 2007

(Or so we thought…)

My Chemical Romance at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City on October 7, 2007, where they performed the original finale of the Black Parade that would later be a part of a live album that also included a later performance on the 24th in Hoboken, New Jersey, at Maxwell’s.

I’m so proud of what this band has achieved with this record within the past 2 years. It’s been so beautiful to see them reclaim the album that initially tore them apart into something unforgettable. This band and album will stand the test of time.

LONG LIVE THE BLACK PARADE.

My Chemical Romance for Kerrang! magazine (issue #1425), July 28 2012.

This was for the 10-year anniversary of MCR’s first album, Bullets! One of the stories recalled was how they recorded the vocals for “Vampires Will Never Hurt You.” Gerard was dealing with a massive tooth abscess and was super out of it on painkillers, so Alex Saavedra literally punched him in the face to get him riled up (yikes. Im not a fan of that guy 👎)

The feature also dives deep into their early days as a group, with Gerard admitting he threw himself into the band because he felt like he and everyone he knew were destined to “end up as nothing”.

It wraps up with a track breakdown of the album, which notes that “Skylines and Turnstiles” was actually the very first MCR song Gerard ever wrote, and he used it to convince Ray to join the band.

My Chemical Romance for Rock Sound Magazine (issue #78), November 2005.

Rock Sound’s “A-Z” MCR feature! There’s a ton of random facts in this interview. Cracks me up that Bob quit working at Disney cuz they yelled at him for his sideburns
