Still trying to process everything surrounding the release of Batman 163 😭 I genuinely cannot believe so many of you actually want MY signature on this book. Sitting in my shop, signing books with my name inside the issue… wow. It feels completely surreal. I’m so grateful for all of the love, support, messages, orders, + excitement over this moment. Seriously… thank you. This is something I’ll never forget 🫶🏻 Can’t wait to share the full story and get real sappy with you guys soon 🖤 #Batman #Comics #DC #LCS #IGcomics by @mycomicmania

Small Business Saturday is almost over, but I couldn’t let the day pass without saying THANK YOU 🫶🏻 I am truly so grateful for all of you. Whether you’ve been with Comicmania since day one or just joined us this year, your support means everything — every pull list, every Wednesday visit, every Whatnot hangout, every “hey, do you have this issue?” message. You all keep this little shop alive, and I appreciate you more than you know. Thank you for supporting Comicmania today and every day 🖤 taken in Comicmania by @mycomicmania

The end of an era 🖤 After 37 years, Comicmania is turning the page. It’s bittersweet to announce that we’ll be closing the doors to our brick & mortar location at the end of the year as we transition into our next chapter. For nearly four decades, this has been more than a comic shop. It’s been filled with laughter, stories, familiar faces, and memories we’ll always carry. My dad started Comicmania all those years ago, and I was lucky enough to grow up surrounded by comics, superheroes, and all the magic that came with it. Getting to share that same little world with my own two boys has meant more to me than I can explain. There’s something so special about seeing pieces of my own childhood become part of theirs. When my dad retired in 2020, Comicmania became mine to carry forward. I’ve spent six years building on what he started, finding new opportunities, and imagining what comes next. This next chapter is about doing what’s best for me and my kiddos. I’m not even going to pretend I’m holding it together while writing this. I’m genuinely sobbing. There are tears of sadness, happiness, and definitely some fear. This store has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. It’s hard to imagine closing its doors for the last time, but I’m excited for what’s ahead. To every single person who has supported Comicmania over the years, THANK YOU. Thank you for shopping with us, supporting our family, and giving us so many conversations, laughs, friendships, and memories. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put into words how much that means to me. While the storefront is closing, Comicmania isn’t going anywhere. We’ll continue through Whatnot, online sales, and conventions. We’re working on online pull lists too (more details to come). From standing beside my dad in the shop as a little girl to standing beside him all these years later with our very first Comicmania exclusive, it’s incredible to look back at how far we’ve come. What a way to celebrate our past and look toward the future. The storefront may be closing, but everything that made Comicmania special is coming with us. Thank you for 37 amazing years. Cheers to what’s ahead🥂Love you all. taken in Comicmania by @mycomicmania

A little life update 🤍 I know I’ve been quiet around here lately, and I know a few things have been a little off from what you’re used to from me. I’m behind on DMs, texts + emails, there have been some delays with the Dexter Soy signing, I’ve had to cancel & postpone some Whatnot shows, I’ve barely been doing raffles, and some shipments have taken longer than usual to get out. I know things haven’t been running the way they usually do around here, and I’m very aware of it. I know people are waiting on things, and I know that can be frustrating. I see the messages. I know what needs my attention. I promise I’m not ignoring anyone, and nothing has been forgotten. The last few months have been a lot. There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes, work has been nonstop, and on top of all of that, I’ve also been dealing with a lot in my personal life that I don’t intend to share publicly — nor do I necessarily need to. I’m doing my best to catch up, but I also know I can only do so much at once. I’m only one person, and sometimes life happens faster than I can keep up with it. So what I really need right now is just a little patience and grace. Repeated messages and followups unfortunately don’t help me get to something faster — they just add more to an already very full plate. I love what I do, I love my shop, and I care deeply about the people who support me and what I’ve built here. I appreciate you more than you know. I’m just asking everyone to remember that there’s a human being on the other side of this account. Social media only shows you a fraction of someone’s life. Sometimes a picture looks perfectly fine while everything outside the frame is anything but. I’m still here. I’m still working. I’m still doing my best. I just need a little room to be human right now 🖤 love you all. by @mycomicmania
