To all my maximalist cottagecore cat ladies—this one’s for you!

After over 150 hours, Hag’s Haven is complete 🥹🩵 This 9x12 fiber arts piece is my favorite thing I’ve ever made and holds such a dear place in my heart. Mostly hand embroidery (I used 18 different stitches if I counted correctly 🧵), with elements of needle felting, beading, and fabric collage.

All the cats are based on real life cats that I love and adore, the plants are all cat safe (other than the vase of poppies), the wallpaper is loosely inspired by the wallpaper in my previous home, and the interior decor is what my dream parlor will hopefully hold one day. 💕✨

My first batch of prints for this piece are coming soon!! Hopefully in time for @ciderhill_farm’s Strawberry Fest this weekend! 🤞🏻🍓 If not, then definitely in time for @concordartsmarket at Concord Market Days June 25-27!!
