Recently a Vintage Store I love mentioned getting a call to purchase all the items in a category they had carefully curated over their marked retail price. This amazing vintage boutique said - nope you’re going to have to walk thru the door and buy like everyone else. Well apparently this buyer did. Fast forward a couple weeks and I’m in NYC and here’s a Lee trucker jacket for $900 at RRL. Maybe $150-$200 at a good vintage store in PAC NW? Couldn’t help but wonder if it’s RRL doing this or What Comes Around Goes Around (which also had insane prices - like 10Xs what the items go for here)?

I keep hearing about this. And not sure I love bigger brands or stores exploiting a local store’s hard work to source and curate? by @myfavejewelrystack

So I discovered I have some vintage @tiffanyandco in my collection. It needed polishing - but I’m so glad I kept these pieces. Bamboo bangle, earrings and puffy heart choker (wedding gift from hubby). Shout out to Barn Owl and the Levi’s Type III Trucker Jacket circa 1984 (the year they added hand warmer pockets for Olympics). by @myfavejewelrystack
