I’ve just picked up a fall book from last year. I didn’t finish it because my mood shifted but I do still remember what happened. So that is a good sign!

So some cozy spooky fall read for me during day time. And in the evening I’m still working through Primal of Blood and Bone. At the moment I haven’t had many reading nights. But I hope to get there soon again!

I finished a book! Feel like it’s been forever. I decided to read a short one this weekend. Felt the urge to read a mafia (bratva) romance because they tend to get me really hooked if they are well written. And this one was.

Only two really spicy scenes. A lot of character and driven forward with the build up of their relationship.

More than ofta mafia romances tend to be smut. And I don’t live that. I want a story, a plot, get to know the characters and the tension. And I got it.

Cass our FMC is working through her trauma. It makes me relate and feel for her. It shows personal growth through the story.

Mikhail is morally grey but a softy for her. And he also work through issues and show that he can be vulnerable.

This book was exactly what I needed this weekend. Just the right kind of slow burn but love at first sight.

My little healer cat has been so close to me these last few days. And I’ve needed that. My plan was to let myself sit with my feeling yesterday, then he comes and distract me. “No mom, no bad feeling tonight either.” Instead I was waiting to see if he would jump into to the bath with me.

My bedside table has turned into my tbr/cr table. I love having books beside me while I sleep. It’s like a comfy blanket. And it makes my bedroom look more cozy. Maybe soon I will have to start piles on the floor again.

At the moment it’s all about fantasy/romantasy with my physical tbr.

I wonder how much more tea people drink during fall and winter? For me it’s a must have during these seasons. It warms my soul in way coffee can’t.

And when you have a cold, it tastes better than coffee.

I’ve spent the whole day in my armchair with my giant cup filled with earl grey and reading The Primal of Blood and Bone. Feeling like I finally had the chance to really get invested in the story.

My moments alone has been spent with all my hobbies. The perfect balance. Tonight I’m even going to watch a movie I think, for the first time in forever (I’m not counting the ones I watch with my daughter).

Apollo and me had some quality time in my armchair last night. My support when I faced monster spiders on Hogwarts Legacy.

My reading is slow now but even. The moments that I read is quality time.

I’m having a few minutes just to myself this afternoon. Much needed. Quality time with my little king Apollo. Picking up my first fall romance for the year. Cozy time.

I needed to switch things up and have a non fantasy book, and I felt the need for a fall romance. I’m still enjoying The Primal of Blood and Bone.

How are you guys doing? Reading anything good that I should add to my tbr?

My best friend has moved out. I had that first evening to myself in a month. It felt a little needed but very lonely. At least I had my Apollo.

But it was the perfect evening. The living room was all cozy with small autumnal decorations that I’ve started to collect. Bought a few last year, and yesterday even more entered our home.

Tonight I’m getting back into reading. It feel like I’ve been on a break, I haven’t had a whole evening of reading in forever. Only a few moments here and there. But I have read a little every day.

𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐛𝐲𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫

I’m so ready to say goodbye to summer. The hotter months are not for me. I get so exhausted by the heat that in the end I feel the warning signs of depressive period coming. One of the reasons my posting has been up and down these last few weeks. But autumn is on its way. My mood will shift. My inspiration will come back once again.

So my reading has been really slow. And I’ve haven’t taken that much time to read. But during August I finished The Songbird & The Heart of Stone. And I’m almost done with A Touch Of Poison.

I didn’t watch any show or played any games really. I’ve just been too drained lately. My bestie has been staying with us the last two weeks, so during the evenings we’ve spent time together. And that is a good thing. To have some social life for once.

I did have night out also with friends from work.
Even if I’m in a low, I’ve also had some really good moments and tried to live outside of my books this month.

The biggest thing that happened. My daughter started school. Such a big moment. As a mom, I’m trying to figure out how we adjust to that and building new routines.
