Through an exploration of the role of bread in the food culture in Italy, we can see the differences between the ways North Americans and Italians see food. Do you look at food as a source of enjoyment, or purely sustenance? How does that impact the way you approach the act of eating? A lot can be learned from the history, etymology, and culture of bread.
