time really does fly by when you’re growing up with ur soul dog🥹

happy 4th gotcha day, bubbles!! 🫧

i’m so grateful i got you at 21, when i was a university student missing my boyfriend while he was on exchange. those first few months when it was just us were so special, and they’re memories i’ll always treasure. then, seeing you meet your dad at the airport for the first time and watching your bond grow into what it is today has been one of my favourite things.

you’ve been with us through so many of our adult milestones. watching us graduate, start our careers, and now get married. 🥹

i’m so grateful for you, bubs. no matter how crazy life gets, you’ve always been our anchor, our constant, and our happy place. life has changed so much over these four years, but one thing that will never change is how much we love you.❤️#growingup #goldenretriever #puppylife by @mygoldenbubbles

exchanging our vows privately (with our dog with us) might be our favourite thing that we’ve ever done 💍

from our golden retriever helping dog dad propose, to him being there when we took a few quiet moments before our guests arrived to read our vows in private, to getting the zoomies around our venue…. having bubbles there for one of the best days of our lives was everything we had imagined🥹❤️

save this for your next ontario staycation + if you’re looking for somewhere that’s dog-friendly!! 🤍

we had the most restful stay at @thelibertyinn. as an avid spa goer, i was genuinely so happy to find out that their nordic spa is dog-friendly! 🐶 it’s also completely private since you book a 1-hour time slot exclusively for your stay.

this was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. relaxing in the finnish saunas, hot tub + cold plunge outdoors surrounded by nature was so peaceful, recharging and genuinely healing. 🌿

the liberty inn itself was decorated so beautifully, with every little detail thoughtfully considered. from the handmade ceramics we used while cooking (each stay comes with a fully stocked fridge to make your breakfast with home made croissants, butter/jam, farm fresh eggs, milk & fresh fruit), to the red light led masks and in-suite spa amenities like the steam room.

the property is also absolutely stunning, and their garden was so beautifully maintained with the prettiest, most curated flowers. 🌸

honestly, one of the best places we’ve ever stayed, and i cannot recommend it enough. if you’re looking for a dog-friendly ontario getaway, this one needs to be on your list 🤍 thank you again @thelibertyinn for hosting us!

if you’re looking for a dog-friendly road trip from #toronto, @pennysmotel is the perfect destination! 📍located in thornbury, just a short drive from blue mountain, this stunning motel doesn’t just allow dogs, it truly welcomes them.

from thoughtful welcome treats, water bowls placed around the property & an on site restaurant (@apres.at.pennys) that had a dog friendly patio, there were so many little touches that made the stay extra special.

the courtyard was beautiful, and the rooms are so nicely renovated you’d think you were staying at a 5-star hotel☁️

thank you again @pennysmotel for hosting us 🤍 we’re so grateful we got to experience this trip with our best friend @miyathecloud by @mygoldenbubbles

a very big day for bubs indeed🙂‍↕️

one of the things we wanted to upgrade during our move was bubbles’ dog bed. when we saw @casper_canada’s dog bed in the colour sand, we knew it would fit in our living room perfectly! bubbles’ fav feature of the bed is def the raised edge, he has never had a dog bed that has that, and we can tell he loves having a place to rest his head💤

we moved into our first apartment together! 📦🏡🔑 (pt 1/3)

hi friends! it’s been a busy couple of months settling into our first place together (and it was bubbles’ first time moving too 🥹). it was definitely a big adjustment for him, but we’re finally starting to feel at home.

when it came to furnishing our apartment, we wanted to be intentional about every piece we brought in; choosing items that are high quality, timeless, and made to last.

@casper_canada’s nightstands and pillows were the final finishing touches to our bedroom. from the beginning, we envisioned a space with minimal decor, warm tones, and cozy hotel-like vibes. we’re quite obsessed w how it turned out, we love our little space where we could truly unwind at the end of the day.

upgrading to the hybrid snow pillows has made such a difference, giving us the support we need for a comfortable night’s sleep and helping us wake up feeling well-rested. 🤍
