Last night we celebrated TWO YEARS of @strychnine_radio ! 🎙️🔥

These guys have been doing such an amazing job showcasing and interviewing so many incredibly talented musicians and artists. It’s been awesome watching the podcast grow and become such a big part of the My Grito family.

Some of my favorite interviews from Season 2 were @joeyquinonesofficial , @thekillingfloors , @theknockoutkings , @saintharvy and @mandiebee . So many great stories, conversations and music!

We’re excited to see what Season 3 brings. I know it’s going to be another great one.

And of course, we celebrated BIG last night with friends, family, good people and some great music. Huge shoutout to @coldcutbandofficial , @theofftrax and our good friends @thekillingfloors for keeping the party going! 🎶🔥

A very special thank you to my tias, who own @la_espigadeoro_98 in Costa Mesa and @el_trigal_dorado in Fullerton, for making us an AMAZING cake to finish off the celebration. ❤️🎂

Thank you, Tia Beli! ❤️

Congratulations once again to @deejayody , @chuy_villegas and @ambrizlove . You guys have built something special with Strychnine Radio, and we’re proud to have you as part of the My Grito family.

Here’s to Season 3! 🍻🎙️🔥 by @mygrito

Such a great time last night celebrating the record release party for the amazing @theknockoutkings , hosted by Strychnine Records! 🎉

We also got to see @thekillingfloors for the first time, and wow… they absolutely brought the house down.

I was honored to be asked by @strychnine_radio to MC the event. Huge congratulations to Ody, Chuy, and Amanda for putting together an incredible night, and hats off to both The Knockout Kings and The Killing Floors for delivering unforgettable performances.

What a night for music! 🤘 taken in Flyway at Fox by @mygrito

We had way too much fun shooting the video for “Uncool.”

Here’s a few stills from the rad day.

Appreciate everyone streaming it, sending messages, and showing love—it doesn’t go unnoticed. Watching this one grow has been wild.

Huge thanks to @joeyquinonesofficial for joining us for Episode 26 and for helping us kick off Year 2 of Strychnine Radio! We had the amazing opportunity to record this episode at his studio, @second_hand_sounds909 in Rialto, California.

Joey shares his experience forming @theesinseers ,his East L.A. upbringing, and the music that continues to inspire him.

From his early days with @thedelirians , @thesteady45s , and @thealtons to leading Thee Sinseers. Joey’s journey spans Ska, Reggae, and Soul — honoring the past while carving out a sound all his own.

➡️Episode 26 drops soon- stay tuned!
