Thank you, God, for giving me the strength to heal, @vincera_institute for helping me get back to doing what I love, and everyone who has supported me through this process, especially my parents and university.

I will return to training after 6 weeks of Physical Therapy ❤️ taken in Vincera Institute by @myhan_m15

What looked like the end of the decathlon became one of the most inspiring performances I’ve ever witnessed.

After a scratch in one of his events on Day 1, Marcus Myhan was given zero points in what was expected to be one of his strongest events. Coming into state as one of the favorites to win, it suddenly felt like all the work, preparation, and expectations were gone in a moment. Most people would’ve checked out mentally. Some probably would’ve quit altogether.

But the people around Marcus — his parents, coaches, teammates, and friends — reminded him there was still a chance.

And somehow, on Day 2, Marcus showed up with a smile on his face and the same attitude he always has. You never would’ve guessed the pressure he was carrying. Not only did he continue competing, but he was helping other athletes at events, giving advice, encouraging people, and staying completely selfless through it all.

That’s what stood out most to me.

Marcus didn’t just show what kind of athlete he is — he showed what kind of man he is. A leader. A competitor. Someone who lives out the faith he talks about every day. His comeback amazed everyone who watched it unfold, but his character impressed me even more.

Arkansas State is lucky to be getting an incredible athlete, but an even better person. Proud to call Marcus Myhan a longtime friend. ⏳

i left for Honduras on the first of August with the expectation of whole heartedly giving and serving. although we worked hard and helped provide for families, i left today feeling like i received more than i could’ve ever gave. the people of Honduras wore bright smiles, despite the challenges and hardships they constantly have to face in there lives. i thank God for this life changing opportunity, and hope that we were able to plant seeds for many in Christ. dios te bendiga 🇭🇳🇭🇳

Isaiah 43:2-3 - “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place.” by @myhan_m15
