A party of florals and pretty colours, painted for Erin and her lovely flatmates in east London. Thanks so much for this space and the trust, it was a pleasure! 🌸💖 #mural #londonmural #muralart #wallart #kitchen by @mylasusie
Excited to announce I’ll be exhibiting this painting at the end of the year. For now, I finally got a well lit photo of her to share. I will be getting professional pictures taken, and then prints will be available if you fancy a swirly girly piece of art to hang in your home - more info when it’s all ready :) Thanks for all of the love on this painting, really proud to have made something that feels so me, and for it have been well received 🧘‍♀️ This painting was inspired by a beautiful orchid I saw at @kewgardens orchid festival in February of this year! #acrylicpainting #orchid by @mylasusie
A massive thanks to the team of artists, Kew and Southern rail, it’s only fitting to have so much colour welcoming folks to Brighton! Photos by Andrew Gardner from GTR :) #brightonmural #mural #brighton #streetart #wallart by @mylasusie

Did I ever share this one? A rare charcoal drawing from 2020 that has stood the test of time against my own judgment, I still think she’s cute. She’s lived on many different walls over the past 6 years, currently residing in my parents living room, fittingly, by the sea x Charcoal on A3 paper Drawn from a model seagull strung from the ceiling, steadily rotating as part of a larger still life set up at a drawing session 🪶 #charcoal #lifedrawing by @mylasusie
Some older sketchbook spreads and drawings I quite like. I dug through the archives, haven’t had a peek at this old stuff in a long while! Most of these pages are from 2020 - 2023 but some are more recent 🍄 some are from college, some are personal doodles ✨ I’m not much of a sketchbook person, I think I get in my head about making art that’s messy and unrefined, so I just avoid it usually. But when I am pushed into sketching (through school or work) I do enjoy it, I should just make the art no matter how messy! Here’s to doing that! #sketchbook #drawing by @mylasusie
The process of painting this fluffyscape 🐑☁️ This was an idea that hit me with such intensity that I finished this piece in about 7 hours, spread over two days. Record time for me, as I tend to ponder and generally overwork my paintings…oops! I challenged myself to zoom out on this one, I used larger brushes than felt natural and really focused on not focusing in on too much detail. I love the result. The melting of the clouds into the wool is exactly how the scene looked to me, it all felt homogeneous, like one big fluffy blanket I worked into the sheep more-so than the background as I wanted them to stand out, but I kept my colour pallet extremely limited and I think that helped keep the harmonious look despite the detail differences. What a wonderful experimental work this painting was! Thanks for reading and observing 🧘‍♀️❤️ #painting #wip #acrylic #acrylicpainting by @mylasusie
