I did two colour versions of this location-Night and a cloudy day 😄 only the night will be on the short film but I still wanna do a day version 😝
Two last images are colour thumbs. This process reminds me how much I love to play with colours 🥺 haven’t do it for so long

Tonal studies for my second module. I wasn’t really familiar with this kind of process and with colouring in general but it was fun to learn new things! 😝 #background #backgroundpainting #animation #shortfilm #valuestudy #algonquinanimation #layout by @mylinhphammm

A drawing inspired by a mossy rock I found while I was lost in a sketchy area, trying to find nearby restaurant 😂 honestly I don’t know why I ended up in a forested area when I was in the middle of the town, I’m so bad with directions 🥲

We are so thrilled to announce that after 2 years, we have finally finished our first ever short film!
It all started with an idea that @cynicize , @hana_draws321 and @mylinhphammm had during our third year of college - a cute little project about our cats Sesame and Tiny💗
We would have never been able to finish it without the enormous and generous help of our super crew. They are the most supportive and talented team that we could of asked for. @sarah_bristow @turnipcakeart @oliverarts @ghostadrop @treading.gently @neelanimations @wellwishingwell @pastel.shark @artsy_ange_ @jinxpectro @solasantro @m.art.inko_draws @ginarogbit , Katherine Rose-Desrochers, Milo DeMelo, Éric Lord, Ashley Leduc.
We are incredibly fortunate and jazzed to have our short film make its first debut in the Animation Show and Tell @animationshowntell this May 1st at Mayfair Theatre at 7:30 pm. If you are curious about Sesame and Tiny’s story, make sure to come by and enjoy the show! 🍿

My attempt to playing more with colors and story telling 😝 picked it from a picture I took in a Halloween event last year that make me immediately think about fairy story and little people home 🧚
