Mental health is a real thing. We all have our own ways of dealing with it. I decided to write it out in a song. This is authentic as it gets. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire process of creating all of this from the beat to the video edit. Enjoy 🌀🌀🌀

⬇️⬇️⬇️I found myself getting to the point where I usually end up being burnt out. By now, I usually would take a “break” that’d end up lasting months on end. I had to remove myself from the process last night and realize that I was obsessing over the work and the possible outcomes way too much.

I told myself that I wouldn’t walk through this next phase without having God lead the way, so in the midst of feeling impatient I understood I needed to recalibrate with him. Yes, it’s good to have drive, but that drive can easily turn into unhealthy obsession and ultimately, burnout.

I could play the hero all day, but without guidance, I’m just lost and throwing Hail Marys.

⬇️⬇️⬇️I bet none of ya’ll knew I could get jiggy.

I wholeheartedly didn’t plan on scoring a film when I made this song but here we are. I have a very dope idea for a video for this in my brain. I can do a lot with a little, but i can do serious damage if I had a lot. One day at a time though, right? I’ll get there. What are your thoughts?
