I’ll be honest, I’ve had this reel done forever 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think I’ve just been enjoying having the bathroom done. I love the dark green so much and I’m surprised I haven’t jumped into putting this white beadboard in the other bathroom yet. I think my little Pisa accents are perfect. Congrats to those of you who picked up on it from my story. Thanks as always to the amazing Instagram antique shop who helped me fill in the details including @ravensnesthome @christyllinum @7a.antiques @maetiques Now excuse me while I go clean it and get it looking like this again. #myownprivateutopia #roommakeover #darkgreen by @myownprivateutopia

Though it doesn’t jump out on the table, it was this french table runner from @aquamarinaantiques that inspired the entire table. Next came the gold tray from @sarahs.antiques and the accent plates from @moodymanor_vintage The beautiful cruet set from @htayloredhomes rounded everything out. I still can’t get over how much it sparkles. It’s so beautiful, it really will be a bittersweet moment taking it down. #myownprivateutopia #tablescapes #tablestyling by @myownprivateutopia

I’m forcing myself to finally post an after video of the master bedroom remodel before I jump into a new project. I love everything about this room starting with the slightly haunted portraits I got from @sarahs.antiques for my birthday to the wallpaper and the trim. Creating a faux built in fireplace was inspired by the lion salvage pieces courtesy of @curated_by_lucy. Books from @mirror.image.vintage and of course my favorite accent of opaline glass from @christyllinum brought everything together. It’s the perfect tranquil, peaceful retreat from the world. The cats seem to love it too. Hope you do too. by @myownprivateutopia

Happy Birthday to our wonderful country. No place I’d rather live. I appreciate every day the freedoms we have an unalienable right to and those who have sacrificed so much for those freedoms. To another 250 years! 🥂 #tablescapestyling by @myownprivateutopia

🌺 I present my “Secret Garden” tablescape. I wish my photography skills really did her justice. She was the perfect transition from spring into summer. I love how these beautiful French goblets and swirl opaline aperitif glasses from @swanhillhome complete the table. In fact, Lauren’s recent candle vessel collection may have inspired my next tablescape 🤫 by @myownprivateutopia

This project has been a long time in the making. Oddly enough the frames came first from @sarahs.antiques and then the beautiful intaglios from @2trickponyrarities I love them here. What do you think? #myownprivateutopia #intaglio by @myownprivateutopia

The hallway trim is done! Evie looks very proud of her work. You all had voted to keep the baseboards white and while I was tempted because it would have saved me a lot of time, I decided to go with my original plan. I painted them to match the trim. What do you think? #myownprivateutopia by @myownprivateutopia

I had started to finish off the end of this wall to give it a little more polish and then got stumped. It sat unfinished for an embarrassing amount of time until inspiration stuck. I added this textured paintable wallpaper and picture framed it with my go to lathe strips. 🤍 by @myownprivateutopia
