Tucked away in the 14th arrondissement, Square du Montsouris is one of those streets that makes you forget you're in the middle of Paris.

Think cobblestone paths, beautiful old houses, colourful facades and greenery everywhere. It feels more like a little French village than the Paris we all know.

Built in the early 20th century, this quiet street is a lovely spot to wander around if you enjoy discovering a different side of the city.

Welcome to the Bibliothèque du CNAM (Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers), housed in the former refectory of the medieval Priory of Saint-Martin-des-Champs.

Built in the 13th century by Pierre de Montreuil, the architect who also designed Sainte-Chapelle it was restored in the 19th century and turned into one of the most stunning public study halls in France.
