An honour to be in the company of distinguished football administrators and stakeholders at the launch of the Motherland Heritage Cup, led by @hajjigafar Chairman of the Lagos State Football Association, alongside Chairman of the FCT Football Association @amouktarm and other key figures in the football ecosystem.

The Motherland Heritage Cup embodies a compelling vision for football as a vehicle for cultural exchange, youth empowerment, tourism promotion, and international collaboration.

Congratulations to @hajjigafar and the entire organising team on the successful launch of what promises to be a landmark sporting and cultural initiative. taken in Radisson Blu by @myrablac

The Citadel of Grace Mission Int’l recently held its annual inter-house sports competition, and NextFootballStars Foundation was proud to be there as a sponsor and supporter.

At NextFootballStars, we are committed to transforming the lives of children from harsh and disadvantaged backgrounds through sports and education, so supporting this event aligned deeply with our mission. It was an honour to stand with these remarkable children on such a special day.

The atmosphere was electric as the children competed in races, relays, marathons, and more. Dressed in vibrant house colours, they showed not just athletic ability, but resilience, teamwork, and an infectious spirit that lit up the entire place. It was more than a competition, it was a celebration of courage, hope, and possibility. There was plenty to eat, drink, and celebrate, and the teachers and staff joined in the fun.

A standout moment was the presentation of the NextFootballStars Award and Scholarship for Academic Brilliance to Obianigwe Dominion Ifeakachukwu, a 9-year-old in Basic 4, who stood out among over 100 pupils by getting all his test answers correct. His excellence is a reminder that brilliance can thrive anywhere when given the right support.

Another highlight was Precious Chioma Chukwu, a 10-year-old in Basic 5, who led Green House to sporting excellence and won the NextFootballStars Champions Award, inspiring her peers with her leadership and determination.

The Citadel of Grace Orphanage Home, founded in 2008 and located in Igando, Lagos, has remained a sanctuary for vulnerable children, providing shelter, nourishment, education, and love, while working tirelessly to place orphans in safe, nurturing homes. Their work continues to restore dignity and change lives.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. Every child deserves a chance… not just to survive, but to dream, grow, and succeed.

This was more than a tournament — it was a statement of unity, opportunity, and hope for our young talents. Above all, none of this would have been possible without my Lord Jesus Christ, to whom all glory belongs.

Thank you for believing. This journey has only just begun 💖🙌🙏
