Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose”.First & foremost we just want to THANK GOD for this special moment in life. We are so grateful and thankful to achieve yet another milestone together. It was one thing for us to graduate Nursing school together, but then travel nurse together, get married and start creating a family together. Now we can successfully say that we have both obtained our Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner!!! The feeling is so dope it’s unreal! God truly has his hands all over our household and he keeps evolving us and guiding us to where we need to be. So not only did we want to share this beautiful moment in life but we also wanted to give our God all the praise, honor and glory because neither one of us look like what we been through during this journey. We would like to thank our wonderful support system because they definitely came through for us. Helping us with Journei while we were studying, testing, working and going to clinical. If we needed prayers, encouragement to keep pushing on or just time to rest they were there. This was truly a sacrifice we decided to make to set our family up for what God has in store for us in the future. Cycles are being broken, the bar is being raised and blessings are being showered down upon us. In our culture you don’t get to see this very often. A husband & wife going to school together at the exact same time, same profession, while working together with a toddler transitioning to pre-school. We are examples to show that no matter how hard it gets…and this was very HARD… it can be done! And it was done! It wasn’t done without his grace & mercy!!! Jasmine maintained a 4.0 cumulative GPA (w/ Honors) & I had a 3.8 cumulative GPA 👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾So in other words… 🗣️THEY NOT LIKE US‼️🗣️ Put some respect on our names ‼️😂🤣 but for real all jokes aside y’all just don’t know how hard this journey really was and for both of us to do this is what makes this a really BIG DEAL for us and for the culture ✊🏾🫡‼️🗣️WE ARE DONE! On this day 4 years ago, God really showed out in our lives by blessing us with the best Daughter ever! The boss of our household, the sweet angel who made me a Father! I couldn’t imagine life without her 🥹🙏🏾So I want to take out the time to first thank my Heavenly Father, my amazing wife who went through a very challenging pregnancy just to deliver the best gift we could have ever prayed for and also to everyone who has helped us and played a key role in Journei’s life. This is a special event dedicated to honoring and empowering graduating seniors throughout Little Rock and the surrounding areas as they prepare for their next chapter in life.This event is more than a celebration.
