First official hike, and I figured I’d start with the Manitou Incline.
Coming straight from sea level, this one was definitely an introduction to Colorado hiking.

6,530 ft → 8,550 ft elevation
2,020 ft elevation gain
2,768 steps
0.88 miles
68% max grade
1:13 to the top

Then Barr Trail back down to finish it out & finding that little waterfall off the beaten path was such a cool surprise
Not a bad way to start. 🏔️ taken in Manitou Incline by @myrstreams

The kind of day you wish you could replay.

Trout limits in the first hour, with my over. Schools of reds everywhere. My amazing best friend absolutely crushed it with the biggest flounder she’s ever caught. And to top it all off, we found tripletail… they won this round.

Days like these make the best memories with my best girls!
