This September I was invited to play at the event-exhibition “In-vu”, created by @arch.inthesky and co-curated by @virna.gi , with whom I’ve also had the pleasure of composing my first sound installations 🎶 🎹 Three compositions that capture the shifting moments of the night 🌌

Thank you @lightstation_ and congratulations to all the artists and team that made this happen, it was magical ✨

Introducing 𝐹𝓇𝑒𝓆𝓊𝑒𝓃𝓏𝑒

🌑 🌒 🌓 🌔 🌕 🌖 🌗 🌘

Last year, we had the opportunity to contribute to the exhibition In-vu in Rome, where we were invited to create an ensemble of sound installations in dialogue with the artworks on display.

As part of the project, we produced the three-track EP 𝐹𝓇𝑒𝓆𝓊𝑒𝓃𝓏𝑒, featuring ambient soundscapes built from layers of drones, reverb-laden guitars, field recordings and everyday noise picked up during our trips to Greece and Italy over the summer. Each track aims to translate sonically the shifting light conditions throughout the day, from early morning into the night — a journey we’re happy to share with you.

𝐹𝓇𝑒𝓆𝓊𝑒𝓃𝓏𝑒 is now available for streaming and/or purchase on Bandcamp. You can listen and support the work via the link in our bio. It won’t be released on any other major platforms, for reasons that are too obvious to go into.

Following 𝐹𝓇𝑒𝓆𝓊𝑒𝓃𝓏𝑒, we decided to launch our project, @wearecurator, to continue exploring sound as a pathway to presence, blending ambient soundscapes, instrumental compositions and field recordings, striving to create an aesthetic of active listening.

More to come soon.
