Imagine a future where lands turn dry and nature folds in on itself. Life exists in the extremes long after the climate warms over and the fires liberate the trees. Wildlife moves underground only to come out at night and thrive on the dew and nutrition of insects. Night birds like owls prey on the nocturnal rodents. The daylight offers no relief from the harsh new realities of desert-like lands. It sits in silence and hardens into tomorrow’s future.
